I'm new here. Registered and was very eager to start playing a game I've always wanted to play, until I realized I can't play it for some reason D:

I've been wanting to play the Playstation version of this game for years, and I was so happy upon finding it, to then realize I can't play it.
Is there a way I can play it somehow? D:

To play Playstation games you need the PSX item from the item shop which costs a lot of Viz. Viz is the site's currency and you can obtain it in many different ways, such as posting. Perhaps you could post in the Viz Genorosity thread in the Vizzed Market forum and ask for the amount of Viz needed to play Playstation games be given to you. Hope this helps!

I've just registered today, and I want to play the game asap. There's no way I can earn 50k, considering I have work, Uni, etc, in the shortest time possible

That game looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.O thank-you for that I will play this right away!!!!!!! If you want other good games try Arc the lad, Lunar, Suikoden, and other tales of series for the PSX your almost there you are almost half way to your goal you can do it!!!!!!! Also welcome to the forums I hope you enjoy your stay here, I can also recommend other great games for the PSX and DC as well as old school ones like snes and stuff. My main is fighting and rpgs.

Wow that was super nice!  It's one of the reasons that this site is so cool those that have been on the site sometime have no problem answering new user's questions or like in this case helping them to reach the almighty PlayStation item status.  I'm excited to get there myself at some point.  I'm not in too much of a rush though as my time to actually play any of the games is pretty much non existent.  Right now I've got 2 little ones running around and working 10-12 hours a day 6 days a week.  I still take a peak through all the RPGs available for the PlayStation.  There's so many that I remember from when I was younger that I had actually forgotten about some of them.  Tales of Phantasia is definitely one of the games I'll be checking out too eventually.

Phantasia is actually one of the first games (1995) in the "Tales of" series! There's also a GBA and SNES version here on vizzed, which are free to play. SNES was the very first version to be released. But the PS version is the 'newest' and has a lot better graphics (more detailed, and a bit of 3D, etc)
GBA is not that good. 

I've played the other Tales of Games, such as:
Tales of the Abyss (3DS) - my favorite
Tales of Symphonia (Ps2 and Ps3) - A long prequel to Phantasia - also my favorite
Tales of Symphonia 2 (Ps3) 
Tales of Graces (PS3)
Tales of Xillia (PS3)
Tales of Xillia 2 (Ps3) - darn sad
Tales of Zestiria (PS3 and PS4) (Newest one)

There's also Tales of Vespiria (Xbox), which I'll get to playing soon.

This site has one of the older games in the series which I really want to play! One of them is obviously Phantasia. Others are 
Tales of Destiny, Tales of Destiny 2 and Tales of Eternia

Basically my point is, this whole series is amazing! If you play and enjoy Phantasia, and highly recommend you check the others out too!
The plots and characters for all are amazing. But the fan favourite game (and my favourite) is Tales of the Abyss, and Tales of Symphonia. 

(Which is why I'm verrryy eager to play Phantasia :b)

Honestly I'm not sure why people complain so much regarding the 50k that the PS1 item costs. ESPECIALLY considering the cost the site takes on not only in the sheer file size but also the bandwidth.

The best way to earn Viz? DONATE TO THE SITE TO KEEP IT GOING! Revenue right now is needed.

Not only that, you can earn a CRAZY amount of Viz by posting in the forums, writing reviews of games, writing guides, taking video with the plugin and uploading it to the Vizzed Youtube page and uploading screenshots. Not only that, you get a decent amount of Viz by rating games, screenshots, reviews, videos, etc.

Point is, you can get 50,000 in NO TIME AT ALL. Keep in mind that the PS1 games are meant for only the "Special" people, because if we opened it up to the general public, it would not only cost a lot, it might bring added legal issues, which the site is dealing with enough right now with the Nintendo situation. So please if you are reading this, keep this in mind. ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS SITE IS 100% free to you.
