because it's not designed to work that way....

the Game Boy Color and Game Boy emulator works for those games. It was never designed to work for Game Boy Advance.

I'm not sure what other point you wanted to make here.... but it won't work the way you want it to.

A game for a certain system type can only be played on that emulator. You can't run a Windows program on a Mac. Even though their both computers they each have a different operating system. Much like the GBC and GBA have different operating systems.

It's hilarious how people think emulators fall off trees and everything is simple when it's not.

I believe anyone can download the GBA emulator and roms.

I think his main problem is because the GBC/GB games just require Java while the GBA requires the plugin.
So what he probally means is "Why can't we just have java emulators for all the games?".
The reason is simple. We added all the Java based emulators that worked properly.
Rather then making you guys have to wait for a few years while the other Java emulators got made (because converting an emulator to Java is not easy) we got the plugin developed instead so you can play now.
If you don't like the plugin or it won't work for you you can either wait for version 1 (which will fix up some of the bugs it has) or you can go to GetYourRom and download the games http://www.get-your-rom.com/
