I can't remember the last time I had a snow day. Generally just cause the board is stubborn. Right now we're having a mix of snow and rain. The result? Slush!

That's cool I guess. I haven't started the semester yet so I didn't have any snow days at all since I was home, but all the snow has passed here so far. We had a lot, largest snowfall in my cities history a while back and there was like 2-3 feet of snow for weeks but its all gone now.

zanderlex : yep and not all were because of snow though some were because there was a windchill well below 0 degrees that day and we got a record 94.9 inches of snow with it still snowing in April back in 2013-2014

Eeesh, 94 inches? I never heard of that anywhere. The record that was just broken here was like 40 inchies. 90 inches would probably go up to the 2nd floor of a house or more, wow.

zanderlex : yep https://weather.com/storms/winter/news/detroit-record-snow-season-20140415 and it's interesting that Frozen was released that winter and in Frozen Arendale usually doesn't have a whole lot of snow much like here and then Elsa causes there to be an eternal winter or whatever and after the movie came out it seemed like we had a winter that lasted forever the timing of that movie's release was perfect

Closest thing that comes to mind is that a field trip was delayed because the pond was frozen and we couldn't study the plants and insects nobody cares about. I was quite sad because the field trip would have replaced French that day.
