I am sure this question has been asked countless times before, but I am sure it has not in a while, so I will go ahead and ask. I was playing Kirby's Adventure for NES recently, and thought about how Kirby's moves are so diverse, and can be super powerful when you learn the best way to use it on certain enemies.

My personal favorite power is the Beam Sword. I like how it stretches out and pulverizes enemies. It can even go through walls. In Kirby Super Star, it can be charged up, and you launch the beam sword through the air obliterating anything in your path.

I really like Hammer from Kirby Super Star, honestly. It has a diverse moveset, deals massive damage with every hit, and has the most powerful attack in the game that isn't limited by uses. Second favorite is probably Yo-yo, with its decent damage, long range, and diverse and useful moveset.

I loved Mirror from Kirby Super Star, and I am also loving Water from Return to Dreamland. Mirror is a beast, and has attacks that are both really fun, and powerful, as well as cool to watch. And Water I love for the same reasons really. Although both are tragically underrated.

I wonder what the character limit on this thing is.

I personally really love the wheel, as it is a quick way to get from point A to point B while killing everything that stands between those points......that and I love the hat.

A few game-specific incarnations of abilities:

For my speedrunning purposes in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, I LOVE Wheel. It's one of the fastest variations of Wheel in the series, so it means something when trying to get places.

For trying to speed through in Kirby Super Star, I find that Parasol is great to use since its attacks are pretty wide-reaching and have little lag if used correctly.

I enjoy Cutter in Kirby Triple Deluxe, as well as being the ability of choice in Kirby Fighters. It's pretty underrated; it's a strong ranged weapon if used correctly in the little mini-game!

But...

My hands-down favorite ability in the series has to be Leaf ability. It's so versatile and fits almost every need, aside from 100 percent completion for obvious reasons. In particular, his up attack and aerial down attack are two very powerful moves, both against common enemies and bosses. When either move is used in midair, as well, you have almost no loss in forward momentum, meaning you can keep on trucking (exception with if you throw out your up attack and land while it's still out). Moreover, the aerial down attack actually makes him float just a slight bit up while using it, making it a good solution for jumps in which you'd otherwise just be short on.
