I recently have been sleeping on the floor. The first few days were fine, but then suddenly I begin to wake up with a odd feeling all over my body. Not necessary pain, but just really weak and numb. It goes away after some time walking around a little, so I'm okay with. However, if I find out it's putting some kind of harmful stress on my body that will ultimately come back to bite me later on, I'll make arrangements.

As long as you're lying on your back you should be completely fine, it'll actually be better for you than laying down on most beds. But you could try looking up some proper sleeping posture if you're still having troubles.

Sleeping on any hard floor is uncomfortable. Try putting some blankets under you to make it a bit softer.

For me, sleeping on the floor usually really hurts when I wake up. You should definitely put some blankets under you on the floor like Bintsy said, and you should sleep in a sleeping bag too if possible.

The last time I slept on the floor was when I was in a tent inside my basement with a friend of mine, and we only had one mattress. I let him use the mattress so I slept on the floor all night. At least I had a soft pillow and a blanket.
