I studied the forums for like 15 minutes trying to find where would be best to post this and failed so here it is.


The DeLorean Motor Company, which only made one car ever, the DeLorean DMC-12 which is features in the Back to the Future movies in back into the business and is 300 brand new DeLorean DMC-12's, which expected to be avaiable at the start of next year.

LunarDarkness2 : No. However, they are in fact trying to make it fly. They're working with Arcaboard on that hoping that with enough boards, the card can lift off 3-6 inches, though that's pretty pointless.

Is there really a market for more DeLoreans? The only reason I can identify a DeLorean is because of Back to the Future.

Also, are they really going to try to make it fly? That's a terrible idea, for many reasons that you can already guess.

I wonder if they'll include a nod to BttF or something like that. Maybe a replica flux capacitor or something like that? That would actually be kind of awesome.

They would only be good for nostalgia. They were never very practical and if I remember right it had a weak motor powering the car. And flight for the car...no good can come of this,people cannot even drive on solid ground. I would not buy one,not to mention you would have to be a bit on the small side to drive it daily.

I thought that car had a crappy motor with not much horsepower. It may have been efficient,but you are right,it was a costly car. I guess I think the only advanced car was the Tucker. It had a giant helicopter motor but still got 30MPH back in the 1940's.
