Ok I couldn't like not do a thread about this. I know there is a lot of people from the usa who do not know what the heck a marmite is. While in Europe we do or some would have Vegemite as well which is still marmite. The spread has been around for many years. Basically marmite is a taste of a yeast comes from beer residue. Marmite has always been a either you love it or hate it feeling for people who have had it in their country for years. As for me some of you know from the toast thread that I created that I love marmite. I love it because of the usual taste it has and it has a lot of iron in it which is healthy for you in a way. But for others once tasted they hate it! I can understand. marmite spread is meant to gain mixed feelings of people to love it and to hate it as well. I have been asked what it taste like and I have already said that above. 

For the people in the usa who haven't had it and want to try it. The only way to get it is from online. I only recommend that you get a small jar so then its easier to throw away once had tasted the marmite and not liking it at all. It saves money that way. So if there are people who have come across marmite. Either hate it or love it. Please tell me why! Lay it down on the floor of this thread explaining your feelings. And please don't go debating about it. Try to understand ones opinion as of why. That's all I need to say!

Personally, I don't have an opinion on Marmite. It's rather hard to find here. I wonder if I'd like it or not.  I hope I end up liking it when I do try it!

Eniitan : I have heard you talk about marmite before, but have never had it myself. I have heard of vegemite and have heard mostly negative things about it, although I have never had that either. By the way, have you had Nutella before? If not, then you need to try it. If so, you need to try Cookies N' Cream spread, it is really good!

Depends on how strong the flavor is. I don't like overwhelming tastes invading my mouth. What is marmite relatable to? And why are the words relatable and marmite not in the dictionary?

Amiably Otaku : To be honest it would be best for you to try it out to see for yourself. marmite isn't really that strong of a flavour to me that is. And it being relatable too. I can't answer that sadly. Ami it depends where you live you live in Florida so the usa. Doesn't have all spreads in the country like I said usa has something that some people from the UK doesn't have. And we have something in the UK that usa doesn't have. So its like a give a take thing in a way. I hope that answers your question. '-'

Amiably Otaku : Funny enough a friend showed this to me a few days ago and actually Ami also. The people the company of marmite paid for that video to happen lol. That still doesn't mean I hate marmite people will either love or hate it. Its a love and hate feeling. :3

Me and my dad actually did a search on this stuff last night and it sounds really interesting. My dad used to make homemade beer, and one time he actually saved a little bit of extract and tried it on biscuits. He said it was actually pretty good. The way they described Marmite on the Internet, it sounds a lot like molasses, which I have also never gotten to try. I'm definitely going to have to try it if ever get the chance.

Things to try when I go to Europe: Marmite if I'm ever in England and Swedish kabob pizza in I'm ever in Sweden.

I can't really comment too much on the actual taste since I've only had it once and that was really long ago. It's slightly difficult to come by here from my experience. I still like it though if only because of the "marmite is terrible" commercial. The makers seem to have a sense of humor at least.
