Well, I've been using the plugin since the SNES version came out, and the worst it's done is crash my browser when a game didn't work, and it doesn't crash very often. Besides, the plugin (as in the SNES version) has been out for almost a month now, I think if it was causing viruses, we would know by now.

Put the plugin link into the box and click scan.

Go to http://www.avg.com.au/resources/web-page-scanner/
Put the plugin link into the "URL to scan" box and click scan.

Then if you want download the file and scan it with your PCs virus scanner.
A msi file like this cannot run itself so you are safe from viruses if you just download it and scan it.

You could also download Microsofts free virus scan software to protect your computer. It is called Microsoft security essentials. I have used it since its release and it has kept my computer clean.

dude i can honestly say that i dont think the plugin doesnt have any viruses.i downloaded it on my moms laptop and it works fine me and her both enjoy the games on here.and i havent had a problem since but the thing is i also mantain my computer every week im doing a scan right now while im typing this.you can tell your mom its fine to download it hell its better then going to some random site and downloading one of there games.tell her its fine that nothing is going to happen.
