Augh, when will my troubles end?

So, as I've been here for the last few weeks worrying about whether or not I have carpal tunnel in my left wrist, I'm now feeling pain underneath my left shoulder blade to the point where stimulating it at all hurts majorly. It's a hard pain to even describe, but it feels like a nerve pinching, only far more violently pinched and for a much longer period of time. I thought it was just some sleeping pain since I might have slept poorly, but it's only been getting worse since I've been up. I doubt I'll be on for most of the rest of today, unfortunately. I'm hoping I can even hobble my way to class with how I am right now. My first one for today starts in 30 minutes.

Wow I'm sorry to hear that. Have you injured your shoulder recently? Are you sleeping on an old bed or a couch or something?

I wouldn't mess around with things if you are having that much pain. I would at least have someone take a look at it and see what they find. Especially if you rest it for a day and it still comes back just as painful the next morning.

Jordanv78 : Unfortunately, I've had to still walk and move around with the pain since I can't miss classes during the first week.

I suspect that it's backlash from my time at the gym yesterday. I probably pulled something or overworked myself... ... ...again. I need to get better at not hurting myself like that. I've taken an Advil, and hopefully I'm fine tomorrow.

Are you doing regular muscle training? In another thread you talked about back pain but not pinched nerve. If you are, then maybe it is the rotator cuff (?), a shoulder muscle that is very sensitive.

You may want a doctor to look at that if it keeps coming back or it does not seem to improve over time. Even if you do go to a doctor,muscle pains are hard to pinpoint and diagnose correctly.

I'm sorry to hear about that. I get chronic pains and sometimes it is just soreness, but other times it is a real unbearable pain. And yet, I don't think I ever had it as bad as you described. I hope it gets better mate!

While the exact pain in my back hasn't started again, I've still been getting very achy and being in a good bit of pain upon waking up in different areas, telling me that my sleeping posture is just overall horrible. It's something I've got to start fixing at some point, because it'll only get worse.
