Another poem! Wow! I really should just create one big thread for all my poems! Well this one isn't a good one to start off that thread with so I'm gonna do it separately! Oh, and this time it's an acrostic poem! Yay!

Oh, and don't forget to go to that link there, you might wanna read the description if you're 'merican

I'm American.  I read what you have to say.  I'm sorry you feel that way about a country where many, many people head to from around the world because they see the opportunity to have choices.

"Culinary Culture Deprived"?

You obviously haven't been to New York, Chicago, the deep south, or one hundred other places with wonderful food.  The United States has a fusion of other cultures because we're built on Asians, Europeans, Africans, and everyone else.

Go to Savannah, Georgia and tell me they don't have good food.

Tell me Louisiana's cuisine is not nearly as well-developed as, say, English food, or Finnish food.

Tell me Somalia has us beat in what tastes good.

Sure, McDonald's are everywhere but that's because American culture is one of consistency and certainty.  You know what you're getting going to a McDonald's.  You have no idea what's on the menu at Ida's Restaurant.

And the animosity part bothers me too.  How much do you go out of your way to help others, show love, and appreciate other people?  I work at a non-profit and the level of caring for strangers is overwhelming.  Sure, riots and Police vs. Blacks violence get on news.  But the news is there to sell advertising.  And people don't want to watch an hour of policemen escorting ducks across a busy road, or people banding together to create urban farming in broken parts of Detroit, or communities in Cleveland making their own power-houses and sharing energy.

That's not going to sell ad space.  Violence does.

Am I p*ssed off, like you asked on that website?  And you added the LOL, so you think it's funny to rile other people up.  That's animosity.

You're guilty of all of it.  I bet you like fast food.

But it's cool because you're a kid so you have all these aggressive emotions without the real world experience.  Save this poem, review in ten, twenty years, and see how you feel then.  I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Eh, I don't think that the poem is very good. Because. . . it lacks rhyme and balance. It's too small, undescriptive. It's just a lot of blatant statements.

I for one don't love America. But If I wanted to write a poem about it, I would do a lot, lot more than this. America has tons of problems sure, but it's one of the better countries out there.

Dark knight of the blackened sun. I am Sword Legion, one of many. My mask is thick, and my armor is strong. All the more necessary in a world such as this. . .

Lol, incase it's hard to tell its a joke about the stereo types of americans. And cause I was bored so I wanted to see how many people would get pissed off and how many people believe in the stereotypes and agree with them

Basically a small experiment I felt like running through a poem.
I did this mostly so that later on in stories and other works i have a reference for what goes to far and whats acceptable to piss people off. Stereotypes are pkay to use but it really depends on the level of stereotype. E.g. asians are smart. People aren't gonna say, "thats not right, asians arent smart!", however, if you say "americans are racists" that takes it way to far.
How ever thanks to the comments i can figure out what to avoid sorry to anyone who might have gotten offended. But i couldn't have put, "this is just a social experiment for future literary reference in bold letters in the first post.

By the way, good job ghost bear for sticking up for your country

EDIT: if anyone feels like this should be taken down, go ahead, I already know what to avoid now, (stereotypes involving culture)
