This is a single elimination singles tournement with 16 slots (8, 32, or however many people join up). We will use 1964 on Vizzed Netplay for this but other emulators/netplay clients (even if not on Vizzed) may be used if both players in a match agree to it.

Buy in: 5,000 Viz
1st: 50,000 Viz
2nd: 20,000 Viz
3rd and 4th: 5,000 Viz

*Wait to sent the buy-ins until the bracket is filled out*
Send buy-ins to: (Any volunteers? I'd take 'em but I'm participating)

Using Smashboards.com's ruleset: http://smashboards.com/rulesets/smash-64/
* Sets are best 2 out of 3
* Semis and Finals will be best 3 out of 5
* Item Switch, Secret Characters, and all stages must be unlocked, more later
* I won't enforce "No turbo/macros" rule

Match times are agreed upon by players. Once a time is agreed upon and it no longer works for a player, a time change must be asked for 5 hours before a match and/or both players agree on a new time or else the original time is honored. If a player fails to show up to a match, the other player wins by default. I'm not doing the "week setup" that offical netplay tournys do, just do the match in a timely manner.

***Unlocking everything without the work***
1. Download this save file: https://goo.gl/6tcbGt
2. Launch Smash Bros to generate the incomplete save file.
3. Browse to C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-*Insert User ID here*1964Save
4. Copy downloaded save to above directory (both saves should be a .sra file).
5. Rename downloaded save to match the save already there (just rename/delete the old one).
6. Restart emu and confirm that everything is unlocked.

Bracket (you can choose your match):

realplayer109 : Sweet! I've added you to the bracket.

Lets just hope lag doesn't deal a lot of knockback.

Vizzed Netplay desyncs a lot and for lots of people it isn't the optimal server, so I would strongly recommend Project 64k

When will this tournament start? I assume when the bracket fills up? I might sign up if my opponents would be fine with doing Project 64k instead of Vizzed netplay.

TheFadedWarrior : It'll start when the bracket fills, yes. When you feel like signing up just let me know.

Using an external emulator and/or server would be much preferred (less desync and better performance on each end). Is there an easy tut for PJ64k? I'm sure I wouldn't have too much of an issue, but I just want to be sure it'll be possible for everyone. I'll look a bit more into it.

Just an FYI, N64 netplay is very unstable and almost never works. So I have a feeling you won't find many people that want to sign up for this tournament.

bigger0gamer : No tutorials really needed. You just download PJ64k, click Netplay, then find a server to play on. The only problem is that 2nd player's controls don't work unless you configure them in a certain way.
