Newbie, not sure if RGR can install/run on Win10

Hello! Happy to have found this community looking for a way to play some retro games! While on winter break I'm using a laptop that has Windows 10 and didn't see a direct answer in the FAQ/Help as to whether Win10 is able to run RGR or not. I was wondering if anyone can confirm if it can work. Before posting I decided to download and run the file, and I made it all the way through "finish." When I try running a game that required RGR I still get the message "Either you don't have the RGR Plugin installed or you're using an incompatible browser." I am using the latest version of Firefox. Any tips are appreciated!

Hi Angela

I believe the issue is Firefox. Using firefox, it'll tell you that you don't have the plugin. This can be fixed by clicking the symbol shown in the top-left corner of the game window. From there, there should be an option to enable the Vizzed Retro Game Room plugin. After that, you'll need to close the game window and then open the game again.

Let me know if that works

Thanks for the tip! I found the plugin manager via Add-ons > Plugins but am not seeing the Vizzed RGR plugin. I'll take a look again tomorrow and post here with results/troubleshooting. Thanks again!

I can confirm the RGR plugin works with Windows 10 and Firefox.
After installing, close and reopen Firefox, you need to type in about:plugins in the address bar and find vizzed RGR plugin in the extensions and click always allow on the drop down.
