   I just tried to open Super Mario World and all the emulators that are available to use display a message on the bottom of the screen that the emulator is closed. I thought this might be just the game itself, so I tried to open a Zelda game but got the same message.
   I have all associated plug ins set to allow. Is there something I am doing wrong?
   I have also reset my computer to see if that solved the problem and it didn't.
   If anyone has any ideas can you please help me out. I would appreciate it. Thank you.

The two available emulators on the left open up in a new window with a server error message for each.
The 3 on the right open to a play window and start to process but then tell me the emulator is closed.
The last one gave me a message saying the emulator failed to connect.

What version of the plugin are you using?
I believe 2.39 or 2.40 was causing some issues with OSes before Windows 7.
If I am not mistaken, I believe they were (supposed to be) fixed in version 2.41
