I can only save on some games, Surgiac. I can't get LiquidCrystal or Red Rescue Team, but it saves fine for Ruby and Banjo-Kazooie Grunty's Revenge. On topic, I might try it. Sounds pretty good.

EDIT: I just tried it. It was interesting, not much changed but I only got to the first battle with your rival. It said I couldn't save so I didn't want to get too far yet.
