I guess if I could think of it, anyone can, Nintendo just announced an actual Steam Pokemon. Volcanion will be a fir/water hybrid and the first ever.

Eh everyone knew about Volcanion for like a year already, this is not really anything special or new.
It's like the whole Keldeo / Meloetta / Genesect thing where all 3 of the event legends get leaked right after the game's release and then they get announced one by one. Volcanion's existence was basically confirmed when the GTS recognized it as a Pokemon (which was like a year ago).

Basically the only news I can gather from this is that there'll be an event soon. 

They definitely did not rip of your Osmium ideas nor were you the first to come up with this idea

I like the idea of a fire/water type Pokémon. It covers for the water type weakness of grass and fire's weakness of rock and ground. However, I think Volcanion looks stupid. They should have had a better design for Volcanion. It looks really ugly. I am not one to hate much on Pokémon, but this one is by far one of the worst looking Pokémon of all time.

I read steam pokemon and honestly thought they were making a Pokemon game on steam.

Volcanion sounds sweet, honestly. The type is very interesting, and I think that it could bring a new meta to the game.
