Are we able to upload TAS videos without fear of copyright now?
I know Nintendo filed DMCA on YouTube around the time Super Mario Maker came out.

So after having my previous Hard Drive crash, making me lose a TAS project I was making for Tetris DX on all modes, I am gonna wonder if making TAS videos can still be uploaded, after (mentioned above) Nintendo's DMCA filing on emulated game videos, such as TASes. If there is a way, how can we get around that? I don't really support piracy here although I used to play a lot of ROMs.

Try uploading to a different video site, obviosuly you won't get half as views as YouTube but there's a thousand times less risk of getting a false DMCA claim.

Besides youtube has an idiotic treatment of people without 100 subscribers or more or a decent view average by ranking their videos lower even if more relevant.

For most titles you should be fine. I haven't had any issues with copyright claims on my channel. The issue comes into play with the music of some of the more popular Nintendo franchises. Honestly, as long as you aren't monetizing those videos, you should be fine.

pablohack&glitch got their channel taken down because of about seven videos regarding MKDS hacking, he wasn't monetising anything.
Maybe using NO$GBA is a solution because of the very garbled sound.
If you are uploading to YouTube do upload to other sites just as a back-up in case Nintendo strikes back.
