There are emulators in the apps store, but I think we are looking at something in the fairly distant future...
I think the focus is currently on updating the site itself, then I would imagine fixing some of the issues with the RGR before any consideration would be given to an app.

That being said, I think that would be great...although I would never get anything done at work again.

I'm not sure if you will ever see a Vizzed RGR app for the App store and since there are already emulators available for most of the popular systems, there isn't much of a need.

It might be good to have a site wide one that would hopefully pull more traffic to the site though. I know ideas have been talked about but I'm not sure if it will ever happen.

This question has come up so many times, but it's time consuiming, costly, and difficult (I cant even begin to imagine the work that would have to be put into it...) Many other things take priority. The closest thing you can hope for is a mobile version of the site for posting. And if it did exist, it would ne allowed.
If you really wanted to play games on mobile just head to a site like [no advertised competing sites] (kinda sketchy though in my opinion) and download some emulators from the app store. Plus side of emulators over vizzed apps are psp games, ds games etc. So dont worry about an app!

Honestly, I'd be okay with just having an app to browse the main site without it being extremely wonky. Vizzed is extremely hard to browse on a modern mobile phone. Trust me, I've tried. It's so clunky that you'd be better off browsing the site with a 3DS.

If there was enough money to create an app like that, I would certainly download it. I'd love to be able to browse Vizzed on my phone. But until an app becomes available or until a mobile version of the site is created, I'll just have to stick to my laptop.

It seems like most of the people posting in this thread have been focusing on emulators more than anything else, and I agree that emulator functionality wouldn't be needed, since there are already a variety of emulators available on both iOS and on Android. But I'm sure you've gotten my point from the rest of the post by now.

NovemberJoy : there is a mobile version of the site. Well, of the index at least. Most of the rest of the pages are still on the old code but over time they will all be converted over.

As for the app - I'm not really sure what people really expect it to do. I wouldn't want to play retro games on my phone. That would look terrible. I'd rather play on my laptop instead where I can actually see everything.

geeogree : I assume the OP means an app where you can play games on mobile, but I would like to see something like tapatalk that allows easier posting from mobile.
