Metapod is the weakest because it only knows harden unless you evolve it from a caterpie which takes even longer to evolve to a butterfree

I am sure that magicarp is the weakest, however in terms of pokemon at their base level quite a few pokemon are that weak. Hoppip and togepi only know a range of splash (though how Hoppip can splash in the water when oftentimes it can barely even touch the ground is beyond me), growl, and charm. Even togepi's metronome is somewhat useless, unless of course you are as lucky as I am and get hyperbeam and beat up moves.
All in all, I don't think there is a weakest pokemon just as there is no strongest pokemon.

I think the weakest could be shedninja because any super effective attack instantly KOs it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it only has 1 HP.

It only has 1 hp but there are only 5 types that are super effective: Flying, Rock, Fire, Ghost, & Dark. It's biggest fears would be entry hazards, weather patterns & statuses that damage, & confuse.

I honestly have to say that battle-wise, abra is the worst. It can only use teleport, and that, is not exactly the 'best' move. Still, abra kicks ass because it can teleport (No, it doesn't kick pokemon ass).

Abra can also use TMs and Move Tutors. And it has Egg moves. So you could, for instance, stick such moves as Psychic, Thief, the Elemental Punches, and (I think) Energy Ball on it.

And I know the Unown thing is just a funny spelling thing, but still, it's kind of funny.

Weakest should only be considered weakest if it can't use attacks at all. (Wobba is one of the strongest though) Magicarp can learn Tackle, Flail, and (with Platinum) Bounce (Gyarados gets Flying STAB through it), Abra can learn a variaty of moves, the cocoons don't even need Harden thanks to a Platinum Move Tutor giving it Iron Defense (which is Harden x2), and can also get attacks such as Bug Bite, Poison Sting or Tackle (or both in the case of Wurmple's evos), or sometimes even Snore through their prevos. Sheddy gets Swords Dance and 2 priority moves to bypass the low speed (Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak), and can also use a Focus Sash to always survive 1 attack.

Abra's definatly not as bad as it could be. Though it only learns teleport, it has a large TM pool. plus, it has great SP.ATK if properley trained, just like Kadabra. Alakazam is drawn with Porygon-Z as the highest non-legendary SP.ATK!
Bottom line is, ABRA IS NOT WEAK!
That was off topic, so I think one of the weakest is, by comparison, Pidgey. They definateley aren't as poor as the could be, but Spearow could PWN it in a heartbeat.

I whould be surprise if someone said theres a pokemon weaker then Marjicarp.

i think magikarp is the weekest but it evolves into a gyarados and there well powerfull

Interestingly, ditto is only good if it transforms into something, meaning it could effectively be both the weakest and strongest pokemon in the game. (Not at the same time of course)

Magicarp is the weakest pokemon ever. there is no argument stating magicarp is the weakest pokemon.

I would say that, unless you have decent TM's abra is the weakest. It only knows teleport and you have to train it using another pokemon for hours to get it to level 15 and it then becomes decent. This is why you should catch all different pokemon to get an EXP share to train weak pokemon much much faster.

Kakuna and Metapod basically do nothin but harden thier shells.

pidgey is the weakest until he evolves into pidgeotto and and pidgeot but other than that he is a get pokemon.

The cocoon ones. Esp. when they're caught and not evolved from their previous form.

i see alot of talk about magikarp but he's acctually got solid stats in the original especially if you get him level 3 and raise him the old fashion way he turns into the best stats in any pokemon game pump it up with carbos and zinc and wow beats gym leaders single handedly except lt.surge no big no noeletric thunder bolt from raichu for X6 damage BIG no no

i would have to say a wild metapod because all it knows is harden which does no damage to the opposing pokemn

Magicarp is the weakest and the most trashy pokemon for me.
I got only one, in order to involve it into a great gyarados!
