"Please allow me to introduce myself I am a man of wealth and taste" hehe!
This place is great! I have been having so much fun playing retro Master System games - I still have my MS up and running, but the RF cable is on its last legs now so its great to have a fine picture on screen. I also wasn't fortunate when I was younger to experience NES/MEGADRIVE/SNES/N64 etc so I now have many hours of enjoyable procrastination [or as we say in Scotland 'skiving'] playing some fantastic classic games.
My favourite part of retro games is the MUSIC! Something I feel is somewhat lacking in todays consoles. Those 8/16 bit classics are now Anthems of a generation. Perhaps its down to less is more: where a short, catchy, funky melody is a lot better than some orchestral blandness.
Well a little about me personally:
I'm 22, from Scotland, and in the final year of a master's degree in chemistry.
Favourite:
Bands - Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, KISS, ACDC
Colour - Black
Food - Italian
Shape - Star
Ice Cream - Mint
Film - The Italian Job
Book - Watchmen
