After my long Zoom meeting, I am now eating a delicious bowl of lobster bisque my family prepared while I was busy. Fortunately, my meeting wrapped up at the perfect time since the bisque isn't too hot or cold. I think I'll help myself to a second serving now.

The last thing I ate was a beef ramen my grandma made when she came over for dinner earlier today. Since it's been unbelievably cold here for the past two weeks, we've been having different soups and stews (which are always welcome during the cold season). To my surprise, she'd bought ramen noodles and came home to put prepare a delicious broth. She topped the ramen off with boiled eggs, seaweed, green onion, and nori. I attempted to make a similar ramen a few years ago during the pandemic, but it didn't come out nearly as good as hers did lol.

I want to try to make it again sometime soon and see if I can make it taste better than it did on my first attempt. I think making the broth too salty was where I ended up going wrong the first time around. It just ended up overpowering everything else.

The last thing I ate was some leftover french toast from yesterday's dinner. I put two pieces in the air fryer for 3 minutes, then sprinkled a little powdered sugar before adding syrup. They turned out perfectly! They basically tasted as fresh as they did when we made then yesterday. Finally buying an air fryer has to be one of the best purchases I've made. There are so many foods it heats to perfection whereas the microwave makes nearly everything taste like cardboard lol.

I just had a frozen TV dinner of buffalo chicken with mac and cheese, with some garlic rolls that I baked in the oven.

I just had lunch a few minutes ago when I came back from my afternoon walk. It was an instant soup that I added shredded cheese and yellow sriracha to. Plus I also had a bagel that also had yellow sriracha and shredded cheese. Both were really good and filling.

It was my turn to cook today. Me and my dad have kind of been alternating as of late, although there isn't any strict schedule.

Ended up making mashed potatoes, which is kind of a specialty of mine I suppose. Asparagus is back in season so we bought some yesterday that I steamed for today's meal. Honestly love that vegetable even though it makes my pee smell horrible for a day or two.

Lastly I prepped some duck breast, my all time favorite meat. The fat is soooo good

All in all it was a success! I'm not a creative cook at all and I also don't care to find 'optimal' combinations of foods, I just always make what I want to eat.
