Hi there! I need your help!

I have a problem with my microphone in games that use source engine (CS:GO,CSS, TF2). So this is what happens: I hold down the key to use the microphone and speak. Everything should be fine, but all people can hear on the other side is weird noises. They can't understand a word I'm saying. And I know it's true, because I've tried it with friends! I've Googled it, but I can't find the solution. I've checked my in-game settings a million times, but everything seems to be in order. And it's weird, because it works fine on Skype, and when I try to record something in Audacity. I'm on a laptop, by the way. Is it a hardware issue?

Do you have the same problem? Do you know the solution? Please help me, it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

mastergame : I did! Multiple times! It didn't work. I will report it to valve, but like you said - I don't think anything is going to change. Thank you for trying to help, tho.
