I was looking through the stories I made several years ago, when I didn't even hit double digits yet. I decided I'd go through most of them and post them, along with my commentary from now. It's evident in these stories that my writing style was pretty different back then. Yes, I'm commentating on my own stories for fun I believe I wrote this one when I was 8 years old. The commentary will be in parentheses with italics.

"Sk8ting Mayhem" (I shouldn't have included the t, horrible fail)

One day Job and Bob were bored. It was raining outside.

"I really wanted to skate outside today," Bob said. "It's the highlight of why I live my life." (Wow, he's obsessed with it) Joe and Bob were sitting there, (sitting where? XD) watching TV with the lights off. All of a sudden, a lightbulb turned on in Joe's head.

"I have an excellent idea! You'll love it!" he said to Bob.

"What is it?" Bob asked excitedly.

Joe whispered in Bob's ear, "How about we skate inside the house, since Mom and Dad are gone!" So they did. (What, Bob didn't even say yes or anything?) They got out their skateboards and helmets and were off. They were skating, having the time of their life (you know, since according to Bob it is his life) when all of a sudden, Joe crashed into the family's most valuable lamp (apparently, the lamp is precious to them) and it fell on his foot.

"Yowch!" he yelped. (I never use the word yowch anymore, and haven't said it in years ) Sure enough, after that Bob crashed into the wall and his foot made a hole in it. (Was the impact really that intense? Oh, maybe their wall is weak)

"Oh crap," he said. (He just hurt his foot and made a hole in the wall, and he's amazingly calm about it) Coincidentally, Mom and Dad were home after that. When they came inside, they looked at Joe and Bob. Joe was trying to clean up the pieces left of the lamp. (Yay, a lamp that breaks! Since it breaks and hit his foot, wouldn't he have to go to the hospital and wouldn't he be screaming in pain? This is definitely fiction) Bob still had his foot stuck in the wall. (It was never said that he did in the first place! Wouldn't he be screaming in pain too?)

"You two are grounded for a month!" Mom and Dad announced. (Impressive! They both said it at the same time!) The next day it rained again. This time Dad had to stay home to watch Joe and Bob until Mom came home.

"Never again will we do anything as fun as we did yesterday," Joe said. (Regular skating, like you guys usually do, sounds a lot more fun than what you guys had done!) The next day Mom and Dad weren't home. Then they wanted to sneak out of the house... (you guys are idiots!)

"THE END." (ooh, a cliffhanger)

By the way, I'm not doing this to put myself down, I'm just humorously making fun of myself for how bad my stories were several years ago. But I was much younger than I am right now and I didn't know much about writing stories, so this probably is pretty good for someone my age at the time. I hope you enjoyed this, there will be more!

Also I hope you don't mind my comment that I edited in at the end of it. I was in too much of a humor mood after reading your commentary. I couldn't resist...well okay, I could have resisted it, but I didn't want to.

Eirinn: Yes, and I've learned quite a bit as I've gone along! I don't mind your comment at all. I think it's pretty funny that you'd say that, especially since it's obvious it was you XD (last edited by Eirinn)

I never read stories on here, but I am so glad I read your's, as my first.

The story was hilarious, nice and short, and your commentary was priceless! I would say keep writing more, but this was when you were younger so. . . .
