saw this come up on romhacking.net last month. let's try to not cause a fuss with the whole feminist thing please. that wound up getting the news thread closed over there and this romhack really doesn't have anything to do with feminists.

description is:

This modification to Shadowrun allows one to play as a female protagonist. Gameplay remains mostly identical so as not to change the experience, only allow the game to be played as a female character.

Changes include replacing the character’s name, sprite and portrait as well as those of one of the non-player characters. Additionally any dialogue references to those characters has been altered to reflect these changes.

The mod consists of an IPS patch made using Lunar IPS.

so yeah, now you can play as a female shadowrunner.
