The last month or so has been a roller coaster of random health issues and hopefully it starts to end tomorrow when I have a very small operation on my hand. Hopefully this will fix the damage from the Toys R Us incident.

For those of you who don't know what happened, I was testing out the display skateboards in a Toys R Us, with no experience and i crashed into a shelf and jammed my hand into a helmet, tearing down the shelf in the process. If that sounds intense, it was way more than that because i ended up doing an entire backflip into the shelf.

My hand still moves and feels fine for the most part but each day there's about a dozen different times where for about 10 seconds, some random fingers go numb or the front and back of my palm feel strained and tight. Plus it's very easy to drop things.

So supposedly some of the bones had very very tiny pieces that chipped off as well as something with the nerve and they say it should take about an hour or two to fix so ill be doing that in the morning before i head to school and see what happens.

zanderlex : Oh wow, that sounds painful! >< I still can't quite picture what you did exactly even with the descriptions that you gave (that backflip part), but I figure the most important thing is, you survived! ^^0 Good luck with the operation and hope everything goes well! Yikes! You aren't filling a lawsuit, I guess then it was your fault?

I would jump right on that bandwagon of lawsuit if that happened to me and it wasn't my fault.

Businesses need to be held accountable.

There must be a recording of such an awesome moment, otherwise I refuse to accept it happened (I'm imagining it right now and can barely hold the laughter).

Serious now, seems that it's not much of an issue, but I understand you want your hand back at full performance. Let's see how the operation goes, doesn't seem too complicated. Keep us updated on the matter.

It was all right, but I'm a robot now. Got itty bitty casts on 3 of my fingers now and I will be wearing them today and tomorrow so it will be cool.

The fact that you did an entire backflip into the shelf actually sounds pretty impressive, especially since it was an accident.

I'll be praying that you'll recover from this and get the care for your hands that you need. Are the casts working well so far?
