so we all know Black ops three will be coming out soon, with that in mind i wanted to maybe strike up some conversation about it

I personally do NOT like to play call of duty very often But sometimes i enjoy playing zombies with my kid brother when i visit.
the first time i played call of duty i was maybe, 14 and I used to pwn. but i've always been more of an rpg gamer. i think call of duty impacts society in a plethora of ways. one being the fact that it could possibly be an outlet for overly violent people. a bad thing: if you're a parent it's an incredibly bad idea to use that as a punishment. as a child playing video games was the only thing that could help me calm down. distracting myself from the reality i was facing. my parents saw that as an outlet of joy and tried to take it away. what they didn't realize is these video games i would play, they kept me sane during the times i couldn't understand why i was feeling so angry at the smallest things. Relevance: my brother is now the same way but it's caused him to become antisocial and he's developing the tendencies that took me years to squash.  his poison: call of duty. Mind you, I used to be NEET. but hey, I'm rambling so go ahead and state your opinions on the game and I'll try to put myself into your shoes and under stand. While you're at it what's your favorite game?

Why are those spoilers?

I don't play cod often since I'm more of a battlefield guy, but I have been thinking of getting Black Ops 3 with the ps4 bundle if I can. Haven't played since 2, but it's still a lot of fun so I might get it.

My favorite game of those has to be MW2, I put up so many hours on that either playing it or watching my family play and it was great.

I liked modern warfare 3 was my favorite. There was just something so fun about that survival mode. I'm actually just thinking about getting a gaming pc Even though they're expensive I feel it would pay off because of the graphics. I heard they were godly.  I think ps4 is slamming xbox 360 this year. I'm not even opposed to it either. They were spoilers so if anyone saw it they'd actually read it. I dunno I figured it'd pique peoples interest.

I've gone off the COD series since they released AW in particular because it's really been going downhill.

That said, the normal first three (COD1 - COD3) were good but since COD4 they've gone bad/haven't done much.

I just played it for the first time yesterday and I'm in love. Of all the CoD games, it's the only one I would play on my own, with all the others I have played was because I was playing with a friend, but I saw all these crazy features like the different specialists, the cool new zombies stuff, and all the thrusting and wall running, and easter eggs. It's so awesome.

The main problem I have with BO3 in particular is that I have no good way of playing it. Even on a serious, amazingly powerful rig, it suffers from significant framerate issues, so I wouldn't be able to play it very well on PC. Now, I also don't have a PS4 or XB1, so that leaves me with the PS3 version. Only problem there, is the fact that the PS3 and XB360 versions are cut down beyond belief, to the point that there isn't even a campaign mode at all. So, it seems like a decent game, but I can't play it because the PC version is crap and the last-gen versions are even more crap.

I was holding off on getting BO3 but I broke down and got it after they patched the frame rate issue.

I personally like it. Its much better than BO2 IMO.
