I forget at what point yesterday it came up, but I started talking about Mega Man Legends for the PlayStation original. I seriously loved this game as a child, and it occured to me that no one really talks about that game. It's surprising, because the game is really fun, and at the time I'd dare to say it was ahead of it's time for what it accomplished.

So, I ask you guys, has anyone actually played this game other than me? It seriously is crazy to me that the game kind of just slipped under the radar for a lot of people.

I've actually played it a long time ago, on my N64. Then, when I bought the PSX item on Vizzed, I went and beat it on here. I'm currently playing Megaman Legends 2, and then I'll go on to play The Misadventures of Tron Bonne.

1 was pretty easy, no real problems, but in 2, the difficulty is much harder. Still fun though.

Yeah, most people don't really say much about it. But those who have played it, love it, like me.

F. Starr :

Right on!

In my youth, I never actually had the opportunity to play Legands 2 and the Tron Bonne spin off. I'm totally psyched that someone else has actually the game. I know you said that the second was is harder but still fun, but I'd like to know what you think about it all in all so far!

I'm probably going to replay Legends once I get a chance, just for nostalgia sake. Then I'm going to move on to the second one and finally experience it - even if it's years late haha.

(I feel like Mega Man Legends is a cult, within the Mega Man cult. Making it a cult within a cult. That's exciting)

I have only played the first one on the Nintendo 64. I enjoyed playing this game when I was a kid even though it was hard for me. I didn't get to far in the game but I did play it enough to agree that the game was good. I'm pretty sure if I decide to play it again I should be able to beat the game with no problems, and possibly the sequel as well. It was disappointing that Mega Man Legends 3 was cancelled.

I'm probably only about halfway through the game, but some of the new weapons aren't as good as in the first game. You need to upgrade them, like in the first game. Find the materials, pay the Zenny cost. The biggest difference that I dislike is the Vacuum Arm. In the first game, it was the best. All the pickups fly into your face instantly, even from a distance. In MML2, it takes forever for a shard to get close enough to pick up, and that's from close up. You need to find parts and upgrade it, but I doubt it'll be as good when fully leveled up. It was just too great in the first game.

The new Lifter is pretty nice. Its acts like a special weapon, but it lets you pick things up, and you always have it equipped.

The dungeons and levels in both games are pretty diverse, more so in MML2. Seriously, I use the map all the time in MML2, and I got lost so many times in the Lava place, whatever is was called, it's actually been about 2 weeks since I last played it. XD

I did heavily abuse the quick save and quick load feature when it came to Pokte Village 100 question quiz. That was nuts. She asks you 100 questions, and if you even get  one wrong, you have to start all over. And it's hard. Random stuff, like geography, and real life history.

All in all, I think I prefer the more simplistic MML1, but if you enjoy multiple boss fights, tougher enemies, much tougher bosses, you should check out MML2.

I've played it and personaly, i like the Japenese version. When the dog chases Tron up a pole, in the english version you tell the dog "Hey, its rude to chase girls like that" but in the Japenese version, you get to kick the dog! XD

This was the game that brought me into the franchise. A friend I had growing up showed it to me, and I was hooked maybe five minutes in. I loved everything about the game, from the graphics, to the game play and it's mechanics. Mega Man in 3D never felt so good lol. It will always be my favorite Mega Man game for bringing me into the franchise (and it's just so darn fun to play XD). I also loved Legends 2 as well, but don't remember quite as much about it since I didn't get to play it nearly as much.

Yes, I play both Legends and Legends 2 regularly both games are very fun to play and a game that is very addictive. I got both games when they first came out. Its often an overlooked addition to the Mega Man franchise. I think the main reason is Mega Man in this series is fully human. While Mega Man and Mega Man X are robots so I think that was a turn off for some. Both games are very fun I like the second Legends better.

One thing I hope is that somebody would make a hack of Mega Man legends were when Tron ask do you want to join with me. The player could say yes and join with Tron and become a member of the Bonne family and do missions for them or refuse. That is the only thing missing from the Legends series is being able to join the Pirates.

I like the Bonne family. Even though Mega Man battles them they are not really bad games. They are short of like anti heroes. They are good guys deep down inside. Their ways of doing things is questionable but usually its just to survive. They are not evil like Glyde is in Mega Man Legends 2. A good example of the Bonnes being good guys is when they try to help Mega Man at the end of each game. In the first game they help him beat Juno. In the second game they help him try to fight the main bad guy. Also Tron has a huge crush on Mega Man that is why the Bonnes can't really kill him and end up helping him
