Are there any other trip hop fans here? and if so what are some good groups to listen to? I know massive attack/trickly/portishead and bowery electric, theivery corp..and maybe if you count faithless as such..
Its a shame that it's not popular here, been listening ot it for awhlie now, found massive attack on the "Pi" sound track with Angel. then into mezzanine.. that whole album is good grooving.. baby makin' music
I also love portishead, wish they'd make more albums too like they first did, such haunting sad and beautiful music, able to channel desperation and hope in her voice with mixing and instruments backing her up.
To me triphop is the blues and jazz of hiphop
