A few seconds ago, something totally stupid happened.

I was reading this tutorial on programming, and decided to paste some code from it to an editor, to try it out.

Instead, it pasted some extra text from the tutorial.

The extra text was... not the most pleasant thing one might read at nine o'clock PM (I still haven't gotten the hang of the A/PM time system, so let's just say it was almost night).

For a second, I was terrified, my blood sort of... froze, I don't know how you call that feeling. I checked out the tutorial I was reading, just to be sure that my computer was not taken over by some poltergeist. Turns out, the tutorial actually did have the same text that I accidentally copied. I felt relief.
And then, I felt: This is the type of thing you write to the Your Forum. This is totally pointless, but I just really, really felt like writing it.

Ah, the inconvenience of technology I mean, technology is usually pretty convenient but there are many things like that that make people think otherwise and that we can easily be frustrated with.

I've had problems with pasting codes before as well, but nothing like that It's actually pretty funny how that's what it pasted along with what was supposed to be pasted. It would be scary for me then, but I'd laugh about it later

DerAxeEfekt : That's pretty interesting. Sometimes, you'll have the ability to only press a combination of buttons (Ctrl+A?) to get everything you need. But it doesn't work all the time.

That's why it always helps to double check what you are copying. I always never copy and paste right off the bat, I usually end up copying, looking at it and then pasting. More often then not I have to re copy what I highlighted because it either copied too much or it didn't get everything that I needed, so copying and then checking can save a lot of time over copying and pasting and then seeing the problem.
