Constant Chrome crashing

At first I thought it was caused by The new Vizzed plugin (2.393). The day after I installed it Chrome would constantly crash, mostly when I have at least two tabs opened - it sometimes freezes with only one too. Now that I downloaded 2.40 it seems to be a little more stable. Earlier today I had a few tabs opened and I was able to close them normally. However it still tends to crash.

Is there a virus around I am not aware of?

There might be, go to control panel and go to the uninstall a program place and then sort it by date. There might have been a chance that you downloaded something else too. It night not have been a virus either, just something that doesn't work well with Chrome based on a number of varieties. If there's anything there from say the last 3 days that you don't remember putting in and don't need, them get rid of it and see what happens.

You could also uninstall chrome and try getting it again.
