I'm curious to know what texture packs people are using and or prefer .
I am currently using the Halo Crafting Evolved Anniversary, a halo textures filled to the brim with halo music,textures and if im not mistaken it uses sounds from halo as well

I'm currently not using a texture pack because I like Minecraft's vanilla textures, but a favorite of mine has always been Dokucraft. It was one of the first "dedicated" or "popular" texture packs because of its unique style. It's definitely worth a look, one of the sexiest vanilla-res texture packs I've seen.

Personally, I enjoy both of Thistles texture packs and thier variants: Thistle Pack, and Wolfhound. At the moment I would be using the 32x32 fantasy themed variant of the latter simply named Wolfhound Fantasy. It worth checking out if you haven't already. Kind of dark but pretty at the same time. I especially like how the spruce tree is riven with distinct lines in this pack, it looks really neat when used as a skeleton for a house.

I only use the vanilla texture pack. I prefer to play the game the way it was designed to be played.

I think the only time I would use a texture pack other than the vanilla one is for a custom map of some sort which needs custom textures in order for everything to look good. Otherwise I prefer just having the regular game.
