I don't know about the Vita, but I've never had problems with copying stuff with a PS3. But then again, I never bought anything from PSN, just normal old videos.

I tried it a couple of times and it says it did go through and that its on my laptop, but I can't find it actually on the laptop so I guess it will transfer just wont come up.
