Once I started seeing the trailers from The Man From UNCLE, I began to realize what was in store for me and I really wanted to see it. It was directed by Guy Ritchie who I love from the Sherlock Holmes movies, and I figured he was going to use the same filming style that he used for those movies.
He did, just the style of the movie alone was great, it was fast paced, everything transitioned perfectly, and the overall movie was great. It starred Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer as as CIA and Russion spies who end up teaming up to take down a very powerful villian, and what better way to laugh than to see two arch enemies teaming up?
In addition to the really cool looking scenes, there was a ton of comedy throughout the film that made it really fun to watch and just when you think the movie could end, it sends you on yet another adventure. I really mean that, the movie wrapped up quite nicely, kill the guy, save the girl, and retrieve the nuke. Yet, that was just the start of it all, turns out the nuke was a decoy and they go on yet another chase, and even once that's done with there's even more scenes between the two spies fighting, and then there's more!
You really can't go wrong with this movie, easily one of the best spy movies ever just behind Kingsman and maybe Skyfall and if you like spy movies but also intense comedy, then this is the movie for you.
