My edition of Windows Movie Maker ( the one introduced with Windows 7 and Vista ) has encountered a fatal error which is preventing it from saving movies into a usable format for YouTube, due to "not having enough memory", despite the fact the computer has over half it's hard drive space left.

This is a big issue. Without Windows Movie Maker, I can't make my videos for YouTube.

Either I have to find a way to repair Movie Maker and get it working again, or find a free replacement ( and uninstall Movie Maker ).

Is there anything I can do to fix Movie Maker? I am on Windows Vista, using the default Movie Maker it came with.

It's not really a problem with the Windows Movie Maker and when it says "Not having enough Memory" It doesn't mean the hard drive space it's talking about the RAM (Random Access Memory). You might wanna check on what is taking up so much of your memory resources.
