Is anyone else ticked that they changed the perfectly good region name of Isshu to "Unova" for the English version? I hate the name, it's so cheesy and low-quality. At least the games themselves will be good. They got the highest score since Red/Blue in Japan.

bigNATE : I agree! Unova kinda ripped off the word nova it is possibly the worse yet. Here are the english name for the new starters:
Grass-type Tsutarja: Snivy (Snake + Ivy)
Fire-type Pokabu: Tepig (Tepid + Pig)

I have heard that getting the bundle, Pokemon Black or White, with a Black or White Dsi with a carving of the two legendary pokemon, Reshiram and Zekrom, are not going to be compatable with other games because it is completely made in Japan. 5th generation? It's too many personally. Over 600 pokemon? What happened to the original 151? Personally, I think they should REMAKE Ruby & Sapphire (In my opinion the best games).

I'm just glad that Dragon types have been more fully developed over the last two generations. Dragonite was all fans had for a long time, and he looked more like a mutated teddy bear than a dragon.

Something like 70% or more of the names are changed outside of Japan. Charizard is called Lizardon, originally. The names and some of the designs just kinda got sloppy after Generation II. I've seen the designs for all of the Gen V Pokemon, and most of them look very good. The names still need a little more creativity, though.

Well, on the topic of names, they were never creative from the beginning. I don't quite understand why people trash on the new generations so much though. As far as I see it, the first generation was totally creative and after that, it became hit and miss, with some Pokemon being very creative and others were frankly uncreative wastes of digital space. Still, there were plenty of good ones in the newer generations, so its unfair to trash the whole game because a few people in Nintendo are uncreative. I think that they should probably focus on massive improvement to the gameplay rather that a desperate 6th Generation though, they're totally out of legendaries.
