Both versions of MMBN4 available here freeze at different times. Blue Moon freezes during Woodman's scenario (specifically, during the part where you have to dodge the wooden spikes that appear out of the ground.) Almost anything that happens during said part other than the spike dodging will freeze the game - finish a battle? Freeze. Escape a battle? Freeze. Try to save your game? Guess

Red Sun freezes when you use GutsMan's Mega Chip (though the comment section suggests it happens with any Mega Chip).

Apparently, patches for both glitches exist, but as far as I'm aware, no "fixed" version of either version of the game is hosted here.
