On August 1st I turned sixteen years old, nothing really happened (like usual). Except that when I woke up that morning I was at a Thousand Trails, attending a family camping trip I didn't want to be at. The reason for the trip was because my mother wanted to use what would have been empty time, as in - Nothing of significant importance would of been occurring.

The only reason I went was because my mom wanted me to come, it's not as if I regret going though. Whom would be my step-father if they actually had married before the trip, popped his back on our way to the second camp site we went to, immobilized him for the remainder of the trip. He was only able to drive the truck and I had to set up everything once we got there. So it was a good thing that I went with them, even if it meant spending time I wanted to use elsewhere. 

Overall the camping trip was alright, I got a cake, we ate ice cream, and my step-dad slowly got better. At the end of our trip I participated in an ice cream eating contest and ended up in the finals. I also bought my biological father a gift while we were there. Like I said it wasn't too bad, as of now I'm typing this on my phone at my grandparent's house. In a couple weeks I'll be back at the new house my mother and sorta step-father bought a month ago.
