Hello people of Vizzed I just wanted to tell you all that I bought my first game system back after about 5 to 6 years roughly along with 2 games. The system I am referring to is the Game Boy Advance specifically the SP version and to be even more specific the Platinum skin. The platinum skin was the same skin as it when I got it oh so long of go so I got it in that color for nostalgia. Now you may be wondering what games I got with it, I got Final Fantasy I and II Dawn of Souls which if you don't know is a remake of the first 2 Final Fantasy games, And the second game I got is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team which is my favorite game on that console to date. I am very happy I got these and I plan to get way more games for it. I got it from Lukiegames.com which is a place to buy videogames and systems and they did a nice job. So anyway I bought my first system again and I'm super happy about it and I thought I would share it with all of you and here's a picture of it and I apologize for my crappy quality camera considering I took it from my 2DS but her you go!

Congrats man! That's awesome new. I can imagine how you must be feeling right now.

So was the GBA SP the first system that you ever owned or the first one you ever played (or both)? And it looks pretty sweet! I now know that when I start collecting old systems I'll look into getting the SP when it comes to GBA (I need the system for Super Robot Taisen Original Generation).

Eirinn : To answer you question yes it was both not to mention yeah it would be a great investment to get a SP considering there are great games for it. But if you want a bright screen your gonna want the AGS-101 model where the screen has a backlight, The one I got is the AGS-001 which has the light on the sides of the screen which is darker than the other. Though only 3 skins of the AGS-101 were produced in America while there were a lot more skins in the AGS-001 department and it runs much smoother on the 001 model due to it having a faster screen refresh time at least by my experience. So it's brightness V.S. Fluidness in the end it really depends on your personal preference.

Awesome! That was my first system as well. My first one ever played was the violet gba but it was not mine but my sister's. Anyway though, it's great that you've decided to buy your first system again.

Ahh I see. Thanks for the heads up, man. I'd much rather have fluidity. I mean the GB and GBPC I had didn't have lighting at all, so the 001 model would have more than enough lighting for me. I'll bear that in mind while shopping.

That's so cool! This is my 2nd time seeing a type of Game Boy. One time, many years ago, I went over to someone's house with my family and they had a Game Boy (I believe it was just the original Game Boy) there and I got to see it up close

I really enjoy the Gameboy Advance SP. I still have mine. Actually I have two. The blue and the NES edition (which just so happens to be my favorite) Although sadly, I haven't played them in awhile just because I've been distracted by my 3DS XL and games for that lately. Maybe someday soon I'll break out the GBA's and play some Metroid on them.
