The Deep Web is group of websites not accessible by using Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, or what ever other engines used for searching the Internet. The only way to access it is to use the Tor browser witch you can just Google to download. Fair warning, downloading this browser or even commenting on this thread may put you on an FBI watch-list. The deep is commonly used for illegal porn, drugs, and gore, this thread is dedicated to finding interesting sites such as documents or information threads. DO NOT POST SITES FOR PORN OR DRUGS THERE ARE RULES HERE.

I have been to the Deep Web several times myself. I saw just about the most horrific and despicable things one can imagine, which brings me to my next point.

The entire purpose of the Deep Web is to catalog stuff that simply wouldn't survive on the surface web. That means pretty much every "vice" ever. Discussion about such an entity on a family-friendly site is extremely unwise, or so I (and surely many others) would believe.

I respect the rules witch is why in the description I tell the mods to simply ask me and I will remove the thread. And I am making sure that this thread and the links posted have absolutely nothing to do with porn, gore, or drugs.

I think the deep web is a interesting topic and I like reading interesting experiences from people who have gone on it. Though to anyone interested in checking it out its probably better to not unless you know how to 100% safe on the Internet. From what i've seen the criminals on deep web have no trouble getting your personal information and finding out where you live which of course is not good lol.

The term 'deep-web' encompasses every website which cannot be normally accessed, such as university databases, military databases, and criminal sites like s***r*** (I'm not going to give the name, but you can guess the name if you know about the site I'm referencing).

Note to the OP:
There are gore sites on the surface-web which survive just fine becuase of the laws where the servers are hosted, the only real danger to them is from other internet users capable of taking down websites and politicians trying to pass laws to restrict the viewing of 'immoral and obscene' content on the internet.

I have actually seen a couple of places that weren't related to the things you mentioned. I have found a place that was more of an informational board on there which some of the stuff found on it is sorta illegal because pirating book website links but from what I did look into the threads on it was some research into deeper levels, conspiracies, technology, and other stuff like that. It was an interesting read of stuff even it was threads mostly from months ago that are mostly dead but sometimes there was an active talk on it.
