I read online about system transfer and SD transfer but nothing I do based on that seems to work. My main goal is to transfer my pre installed Pokemon X game to a larger SD card so I wouldn't have to worry about switching SD cards once I put more games onto it.

There are a lot more games that I still want to get, but I would rather download these instead of getting the cartridge, but the SD card that came with the system is only 4 GB while the SD card I bought for my MP3 which I will no longer be using since I got an Ipod is 16 GB but I can't seem to transfer the game or save data to the new one. Every place I checked says I need to copy the contents of the DS SD card to the new SD card but when I do that, nothing pops up so I don't know what else I need to do to copy the game and other data. Does ayone else know what I would need to do in addition to just copying the files?

When I upgraded the SD card for my XL to a 16GB card I just plugged my old SD card into a computer, copied to a folder, and copied that back onto my 16GB card and plugged it into my XL. That was all I had to do.

Strange, don't know. Can you redownload the game? If you can I would just do that (assuming you don't have any save data to take too).

Dont know then, your supposed to just copy to a new SD card. Call Customer Support, maybe they will tell you to update your drivers.
