yeah, I don't really think this is going to be a real debate for any of us.... SNES by far for me too.

Although I owned an SNES so I'm pretty biased. But even after playing some games now I just don't like the Genesis. And really, it's the system with Sonic on it.... where is the good in that?

I have both. Grew up with both. The Genesis is ok, but there are just better quality games and more of them on the Snes.
Genesis had all of what, 5 good RPGs, while the Snes had 50.
Maybe not acurate figures, but close enough.

I didn't actually played GENESIS, but I'll play it later.

As for SNES, what a great console, I had no idea the first games were like this(instead I thought PSX were the first games).

Honestly, since a lot of my all time favourite games are on the SNES, I'll go with it. Even though these two consoles are very much the same in my opinion, the SNES just had that little bit more games that 'struck a chord' for me.

theres one genisis game not mentioned....did nobody else play wonder boy on genesis??? it was my fave game on either console so i do have fond memories of it

then on the flipside there was another lil known game for the snes called metal marines that also kicked ass so i suppose snes still takes the cake AND the crumbs....just surprised no one gave wonder boy an honourable mention....
