BestGamer24 :
And that right there is my concern.   WWE creative isn't exactly the Brightest when it comes to making a good Storyline.

So far  It looks like Rollins and Ambrose are really gonna have to step it up.

Hopefully they make Rollins do something better then complain, because that's how his perspective is right now.      I get it from a Heel character perspective but he's been going on how he's lost the World title for weeks now, and that's getting old real fast.

WWE Raw - 6/27/16 - MY THOUGHTS
-------------------------------------------------- (sorry if it's long)
Show starts with Rollins bashing on Roman for his suspension.
Seth is also mocking Roman's tweet about the suspension.
Seth also says Roman doesn't deserve a second chance, and that it should be a 1-on-1 match at Battleground.
Dean Ambrose comes out and bashes Seth saying the triple threat is still on.
Then, AJ Styles comes out and says it should be a fatal-4-way match.
Then, John Cena comes out. saying "I held that title 15 times, and 14 years on this day, I had my first match".
John cena says "FATAL-5-WAY!", Seth says "I want a one-on-one!".
Stephanie McMahon comes out, mocks Dean, and says Dean faces John Cena. If Cena wins, he's in the title match.
AJ faces Seth. If AJ wins, he joins the title match as well.

Good way to start the show. A fatal-5-way at Battleground?
Good hype for the match as of now.

Match #1 - Women's Tag Team
Sasha Banks and Paige vs Charlotte and Dana Brooks. Time: about 10 minutes.
Banks and Paige win by submission.
3/5 stars. Very balanced, plenty of action, however, it felt like an average tag match.

Match #2 - Men's Singles
Titus O'Neil vs Rusev. Time: 7 minutes
Titus mostly dominates Rusev. Towards the end, Rusev and Titus hit each other with a double clothesline.
When they get up, Titus throws Rusev over the barricade and Titus wins.
Titus wins via count-out.
2/5 stars. Very lackluster with a count-out finish. Isn't this their fifth match against each other?

Match #3 - Men's Singles. IF Cena wins, he gets a spot in the title match.
John Cena vs Seth Rollins. Time: about 15 minutes.
Cena swung at Rollins, Cena missed by about 6 inches, and Rollins didn't sell it. Props to him.
Cena has a great chance to win then AJ and the Club come out, and cost him the victory.
Seth Rollins wins via pinfall.
3/5 stars - great match, very balanced, lots of action. Finish wasn't great. Best match of the night thus far.

Match #4 - Men's Tag Team
Enzo and Cass vs Some jobbers. Time: 13 seconds.
Enzo says as soon as the bell rings, he wants the fans to do the wave. They do, right as Enzo and Cass obliterate their opponents.
Right as Enzo and Cass do their S-A-W-F-T saying, the Social Outcasts come back as the say they're H-A-R-D.
The outcasts come to the ring, Big Cass destroys Slater with a big boot. Enzo and Cass describe the as SAWFT.
Great little segment there. However there really wasn't a match.

Match #5 - Women's Singles.
Summer Rae vs Becky Lynch. Time: 0:00 (No contest)
Natalya's on commentary explaining why she turned on Becky.
Becky then attacks Natayla. The ref is trying as best as he can to hold Becky back.
Summer Rae is in the corner just watching.
Match ends in a no-contest before it even started.

Jericho's Highlight Reel:
Sami says he wants to settle everything once and for all at Battleground, and asks Owens to tell him the truth about why he ruined their friendship. Owens blames it on Zayn, but accepts the match at Battleground.
Jericho mocks both of them, and Owens and Zayn attack Jericho, and Owens leaves the ring.

Match #6 -  Intercontinental Championship Match
The Miz vs Kane. Time: about 5 minutes  (Yes, that's right, Kane.)
Kane starts off on-fire(pun intended).
Miz gets counted-out, while checked on Maryse, who purposely faked her injury so Miz could keep his title.
2/5 stars - Wasn't that great, but the finish was great.

Match #7 - Men's Tag Match
Cesaro and Apollo Crews vs Sheamus and Del Rio. Time: about 8 minutes
Del Rio turned on Sheamus during the match. Del Rio then stormed out.
Winners: Cesaro and Apollo via pinfall.

Well, the New Day is mocking the Wyatt Family. This is great.

Match #8 - Men's Singles. IF AJ wins, he's in the title match at Battleground.
Dean Ambrose vs AJ Styles. Time: about 10 minutes
Just like AJ earlier in the night, Cena comes out and costs AJ the match.
Winner: Ambrose via pinfall.
3/5 stars - balanced, plenty of action. overall good match.

OVERALL: 3/5 Stars. Raw was pretty good this week.

So, Seth starts the night talking about how Roman shouldn't be in the match. Dean comes out and says it should remain a triple threat match. I am leaning towards Seth's interpretation. Any now AJ's coming out to the ring!!!! AJ Styles wants to be in the match instead of Roman and I LOVE that idea. The crowd seems to be on top of that one too. Now John Cena is coming to the ring. John also wants in the match. Here comes Stephanie McMahon. Alright, I'm okay with this. Rollins vs Cena and Ambrose vs Styles and anyone who wins are in the championship match at Battleground. That's interesting for sure. While I want to see the triple threat match it is better served for Summer Slam or Wrestlemania and not a random PPV.

Paige and Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooks and Charlotte - respectable match. It's building towards Sasha Banks vs Charlotte for the title at Battleground. Hopefully the match is at good as people expect it to be.

Rusev vs Titus O'Neil - interesting. Count out victory over Rusev. You don't see too many of those. Still, I'm not a fan of Titus. This match just felt awkward with him. Not sure if that was more his fault or Rusev's but I wasn't a big fan.

Rollins vs Cena - I'm excited about this one. I loved their matches back when Rollins was champ and hopefully these can deliver. Oh good, yet another John Cena no cell. Drop kick to the face but he's back up within 5 seconds. I'm tired of seeing no sells like that this late into a match. Cena and Reigns both do it and it is ridiculous. Ugh. Superplex into another move and Cena kicked out again. Haha. Foot on the rope. Interesting. Styles just came to the ring. If they attack Cena he wins and he is in the match. If they are smart they attack Rollins first. Pedigree! YES! Rollins wins! No Cena in the title match. I love it.

Enzo and Cass vs jobbers? I missed their names and it doesn't seem like the match will last long. Wow.

There was a LOT of other stuff in between that I didn't really care about. Lots of stupid stuff or too much talking.

Miz vs Kane - this is for the intercontinental championship. And I guess it is going to end in a count out. Lame.

Curz Cesaro vs Shemas Del Rio - don't care.

New Day Promo - this is pretty funny. Making fun of the Wyatts is pretty good. These guys can deliver promos pretty well. Now I hope they actually get in the ring together and fight. Xavier Woods actually looks uncomfortable. That was it? They really need to get those guys in the ring together. I can only assume that Bray is still injured and they are waiting for him to heal up completely.

Styles vs Ambrose - Ambrose is coming out first... that is strange. I thought the champ came out last. Oh well. Still, I'm hopful that these guys can put on a good match. Ambrose is strange but is good in the ring with just about anyone. And Cena costs AJ his chance at getting into the match. While I see what they are doing here it does bug me that they had this whole angle with neither person getting into the match. I guess they are just trying to keep building up the Cena vs Styles rivalry.

Raw July 11th

Battle Royal to determine who is the #1 contendor for the IC title. I actually kind of like this. It's a nice difference in picking a #1 contendor once in a while. Not too often but it is fun sometimes. Just as long as it isn't for the title itself. Interesting. Del Rio through the 2nd rope so he's not eliminated. He might win this then. Interesting. I didn't expect Darren Young to win. Wow. Darren Young getting a chant from the crowd.

Zach Ryder vs Sheamus - that's a really disappointing match. Every time it feels like they are pushing Ryder they end up squashing him in some way or another. Maybe they are trying to push him as an underdog. That's about the only thing that makes sense. Against someone like Rusev it doesn't really make sense any other way.

Breezango vs Lucha Dragons - I was expecting to hate this match but it was pretty good. However, like expected there have been some botches. There always are with the Lucha Dragons. When they hit their stuff it looks great but they mess up enough that it almost doesn't seem worth it. Breezango won. Both of those guys can really wrestle when they are given time to have a serious match.

Time for "The Rollins Report". This is funny. It's so obvious that the clips are picked out so that the questions and answers make Reigns looks bad. Just waiting for Ambrose to come out now. There he is. Just more build up for their match at Battleground. Are they having a title match next week? That would be interesting. They could put the belt on Rollins before the PPV and still have the triple threat. I kind of hope that is what happens. Would be interesting to see how it plays out at Battleground then. You could turn Reigns heel by having him turn on Ambrose in order to get the title back. Lots of possibilities.

Kevins Owens vs Cesaro - I liked the start to this match. Well, pre-match stuff. Sami Zayn was supposed to do commentary and Owens wouldn't go out to have a match with Zayn out there. Nice way to build some extra heat. Vince also showed up before the match started but he is still in the back. I could watch these 2 guys fight over and over again. Both are good in the ring. Wow, Kevin Owens won the match. That was pretty impressive. Nice! Sami Zayn just came out of nowhere and attacked Owens. So awesome! HAHA. Cesaro just snuck up on Owens and is doing the Swing now. That's funny. That has got to be tough to do with someone as big as Owens.

Heath Slater vs Titus O'Neil - so this will last less than 5 minutes and Titus will win. No surprise expected.

Wyatt family compound attack thing with the New Day was strange. Hard to see anything with the way they filmed/edited everything.

Enzo and Cass vs The Club - I actually really like this rivalry so far. Enzo and Cass are really hot right now and so are the Club. DQ end for the match and now here comes John Cena. They spent a lot of time talking about how John Cena wasn't around but he came out. That was pretty good. Must be nice to get paid to run out to the ring for 1 minute.

Dana Brook vs Sasha Banks - and that match went exactly as expected except that it lasted longer than I though it would. They got more time than I thought they would. Good match overall and good lead up to Sasha vs Charlotte at Battleground.

Shane is coming out. And here comes Steph as well. I'm really hoping for a big surprise tonight. Here comes Vince! So Shane and Steph are trying to convince Vince why they should run Smackdown. Here comes the announcement.... it's Shane! There has got to be a twist. There it is. Stephanie is running Raw. Each one of them needs to pick a GM to run their shows. There is something missing here though. There has got to be another twist before the show ends. There is still time. Whoa. Slap to the face from Steph and Shane gives her a kiss on the cheek. Steph slipped going down the stairs. That was pretty good.

I'm more interested in this story line now than I have been before. I really hope they live up to what Vince said about competing. I want them to talk about ratings and what not every week in order to gloat and egg each other on.

http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/728187-bray-wyatt-comments-on-wwe-raw-segment-vs-final-deletion-debate-matt-hardy-issues-a-challenge-to-wyatt
So Wyatt's and matt hardy are having a fight over Gimmick infringement.

What really interest's me is that matt said to bray that he has an Open Invite to his battlefield..

Could they be planning some kind of Bray vs hardy feud sometime in the future?

I'd like to see an angle like this, but  I'd doubt it'll happen anytime soon because WWE and TNA don't trust each other right now.

Raw was at least better than the July 4th edition. Some ridiculous moves were done on Raw, such as Darren Young not having to eliminate the final competitors to get an Intercontinental Title shot, making him look like a joke, which will hurt him over time. Same thing with Zack Ryder, and how he loses a match against Sheamus, then gets a US Title shot against Rusev at Battleground. This just tells me that I don't really care about the mid card titles at this PPV, and with the work that they put in to build these titles up has just been brought down lately. Hopefully the draft will fix this problem by using these titles more often. It also wasn't surprising that Breezango won, as WWE is planning to repackage them and make them a more legitimate tag team, unfortunately at the expense of teams that are pretty good such as The Ascension, the Lucha Dragons, and the Vaudevillains. The Rollins Report was very entertaining, and it really seemed like Rollins put it together to make Reigns look bad, and it was an innovative use of Reigns while he was suspended, especially when under Reigns' name during the mock interview, it said "Not a good guy, not a bad guy, but the suspended guy" which made me laugh, especially on how much I despise Reigns. I was happy with the Owens VS Cesaro match, even though it seemed like it wouldn't happen because of the commentary with Sami Zayn and showing of Vince coming out of the limousine. Slater and O'Neal is the definition of filler, and is the main reason that Raw should be only 2 hours, especially with Smackdown only being 2 hours, and the brand split coming, that should be done to make it equal, and to make it less wrestling to watch every week. The Final Dele... I mean the Wyatt Compound was decently put together, I just wish it was a little clearer. It makes sense that the gimmick infringement is being argued over, but the Wyatts have always had some sort of compound that they do some of their interviews out of, making it not technically a rip off, but because the Final Deletion happened so close to this, it was clearly a ripped off idea. Enzo & Cass against The Club was some more nice build up to the 6 man tag match, and the DQ finish was the best way they could bring Cena out to help. Brooke VS Banks was mediocre at best, and that is because Brooke is still raw in the ring, and shouldn't of been called up at all, let alone being considered until maybe late 2017, instead bringing up Emma by herself again. We all knew that Shane would run Smackdown and Stephanie running Raw. Hopefully the General Managers are more entertaining, although I wish Shane, Stephanie, and Vince would not go on TV as much. The General Managers are all of the authority we need on the show, and even that is sometimes booked stupidly. Hoping they introduce brand new GMs instead of returning ones, unless one is Mick Foley or Kurt Angle, then I would be okay with returns.

I think that the draft went well apart from the Wyatt Family being separated.
Seth went to Raw, Dean to Smackdown, and Dean retained his title three times.
I though I was weird that Raw got three picks vs Smackdown's two, but it made sense because Raw is the bigger show.

Raw and Smackdown were both good, but Battleground was the first Draft PPV (are they still PPV's?), and it showed some light on the draft.
Dean is still champion, but it only feels right that the WWE Championship goes to Raw.
Maybe they'll bring back the World Heavyweight Championship or maybe use the current WWE Championship across both shows.
WWE hasn't announced anything about the titles yet.

I'm excited about Finn Balor making his Raw debut tonight.

So is this thread specficially for Raw Now? or could we Discuss about Smackdown here too?

Speaking of Raw. I seriously don't like what they're doing to Brawn after they serperated him from the wyatts.    Yes having him beat someone up is good, but not if the guy is an unknown wrestler..

SuperCrash64 : I was planning on making a thread for Smackdown but I didn't take the time to actually write anything up for the show so I didn't end up making anything. I could rename this thread again and keep all the conversation in this thread I guess....

Raw - Aug 1st

Starting Raw off with Sasha Banks which is pretty neat. Good to give the women a bit more of a spotlight. There are some good women in the division. Wow, Charlotte coming out already. That didn't take long. And now for some back and forth posturing. HAHA! One night stand! That joke was amazing. Jericho?!? What is he doing out here? I didn't think he was any friend of Charlotte's. Jericho is screwing up his lines all over the place. Enzo Amore? This is getting more and more strange as it goes. Enzo is pretty funny. And here comes Mick Foley to no doubt make a match between the 4 of them.

Charlotte and Jericho vs Sasha Banks and Enzo - Charlotte and Jericho win. Not a bad match at all but I didn't really care about it. I don't understand why they grouped Jericho up with Charlotte. That didn't make any sense. It was still pretty good though.

Braun Strowman vs some jobber - so, another squash match. I wonder who they are going to match him up against after he finishes squashing people. Just seems really pointless. Make him look really strong and then bring someone back to beat him I guess?

Golden Truth vs The Shining Stars - isn't this just Primo and Epico? I'm not sure why they needed 6 months of videos to introduce them since they are guys we've seen multiple times before. Wow. What a ridiculous match. R-Truth was too busy playing Pokemon Go and that made them lose the match. Terrible stuff.

Finn Balor time! And here comes Seth Rollins! Balor didn't get more than a minute before getting interrupted. Getting rid of Michael Cole was the best thing Rollins could do. Not a bad segment overall honestly. Rollins is clearly the heel here and Balor, in spite of being the underdog, looks good so far. They are going to have an awesome match at Summerslam.

Rusev vs Mark Henry - haven't we seen this before? Didn't Rusev beat him multiple times already even though Mark Henry was trying to win the US championship. And of course Rusev is going to win. There is no point in putting the title on Mark Henry at this point. Wow, ranting about the Olympics. Pretty good way to get heat. Roman Reigns?!? Interesting. Hard to hate Reigns when he is going after Rusev. I think that rivalry could have some there.

Titus O'Neil vs Darren Young - interesting match here. These guys used to be tag partners so it is kind of interesting they are fighting now. Better that they didn't do this immediately after the tag team broke up. Titus is crazy strong in this match. Wow, Titus cheated to win. Interesting.

New Day vs The Club - Very nice. This is how they need to book The Club. Beating people up and causing anarchy. This was a great match.

Cesaro vs Sheamus - not enough time on this match. I feel like it could have gone longer and still been good. I'm not a huge Sheamus fan but he can put on a good match once in a while.

Rollins vs Zayn - these guys have potential for a rivalry in the future. I'd love to see them fight each other. Both of these guys are so good. Hopefully when they fight Zayn is booked better though. Zayn is easily good enough to take on Rollins but Rollins is on top right now and isn't going to lose many times going into a title match at a big PPV.

Paul Heyman is in the ring! You know what this means!!!!! This guy is gold on the mic. BROCK LESNAR!!!!!! Doesn't get much better than an introduction from Heyman. He could hype just about anyone. 5 minutes of hype and then Orton out of nowhere hits the RKO after Heyman said he couldn't do it. Although Lesnar wasn't down for long. It's going to take more than 1 RKO to put the beast down. I'm more excited for this match now that I've seen them in the ring together even if it was for a second.

Not too bad of a Raw. The middle hour lagged for me but overall I liked it.

Smackdown Aug. 2

I hear that there's gonna be a new Women's title for smackdown exclusively along with some tag titles in due time.    Looking forward to it, because the Women on Smackdown need to be evaluated.  and Hopefully this can stop the repetitive feuding problem that Becky Lynch constantly runs into.

American Alpha had a great match against the VadueVillains, but I kind of feel bad for the Vaduevillains now.
Vince said he hated their gimmick and ever since  they lost to the new day,  nobody can take them seriously.

AJ styles vs John Cena  #03  has been confirmed for SummerSlam.     After what happened at battleground with Cena, AJ needs to go with a win here, so he can be revaulated as a top superstar in the company.
The back to back PPV losses really hurts AJ's potential, and battleground didn't help him as a heel either.

Dolph ended up with a Win Retaining his Number 1 contender spot, but WWE did good in having the Wyatt's Attack him post match.  That actually made Bray still look like a very major threat for the WWE world title in the future.

I'm not too fond of Dolph VS Ambrose at Summerslam,  Don't get me wrong, it sounds like a good match in theory but it will be underwhelming compared to the previous Shield triple threat at battleground.

Not to mention  Dolph vs Ambrose will more then likely be out-done by Balor vs Rollins.

As Expected Brock Lesnar Delivered an F-5 to Orton to Spice up the hype towards the SummerSlam match.
The problem here it was too predictable after what happened on Raw.  If Brock didn't appear that week, it'd would have more of a definitive impact on the feud.

Raw - Aug 8th

Wow. Starting the night with Enzo and Cass. Not that I don't like these guys but it seems strange to start the night with these guys. They aren't even really doing anything right now. So, Enzo is calling out Jericho. I guess it makes sense but it isn't very interesting to me. Oh here we go. Kevin Owens is watching Jericho's back tonight. After a bit too much talking it turns into a 1 on 1 match.

Jericho vs Enzo - I'm not really sure where this is supposed to be going. Enzo is REALLY slow with his moves. They don't like good at all. It's a good thing his mic work is as good as it is cause his wrestling could better. Interesting. Kevin Owens interfered in the match and Cass went into the ring and got Enzo DQ'd. I hope they don't turn this into some sort of breaking up of the team. They are far from needing to do that. That is unless they want Cass to move into a single's role but I think that is too early.

Yay, another Strowman squash match. These matches are obviously intentional but I wonder what they are building towards with him. I'm interested to find out but I worry that it ends up being really lame.

Titus O'Neil vs Darren Young - while I don't hate this match-up I also don't really care about either of these guys. They both can be really good at times but I can't watch them against each other and care about it. Wow, Darren Young stole the win in the same way that Titus did last week. I still don't care about this rivalry unfortunately.

Finally! Seth Rollins is on his way to the ring! I love Seth Rollins on the mic. He has a really big nose....

Sheamus vs Cesaro - I was going to complain about this match but instead I chose to not write anything. Seemed like it was about to be predictable when Sheamus countered the move he used to win last win and almost hit the Brogue kick but then that missed and Cesaro almost won with a roll up. I like that things are being kept fresh and it wasn't a predictable ending (yet that is). I liked that ending! A ref that actually got out of the way when he saw someone was about to run into him! And then got bumped a bit but clearly not hard enough to knock him out and it ended up with Sheamus getting beaten. That was funny.

Just finished watching the videos of Orton and Lesnar about their upcoming match at Summerslam and I have to admit that the hype is definitely building. Hopefully it can live up to the hype.

Dudley Boyz vs Neville + Sin Cara - I was so excited to see Neville come back but to team him up with Sin Cara makes me sad. That was strange. Sin Car went through the middle rope and then got screwed over by the Dudleys somehow.... it didn't really make sense. Still, glad to see Neville win. I always liked him and hopefully this time around he can have a better run.

Rusev and Lana marriage celebration - these always end well . This segment is taking WAY too long. Stop talking! It's been 6 or 7 minutes already. Oh, redoing the vows. That will get interrupted for sure. FINALLY. This is one of the first times I've been happy to see Roman Reigns in a while. Roman wants to be the best man. That is actually pretty funny. So Rusev refuses the match at Summerslam so Roman is going to cause an incident to get Rusev mad enough to accept the fight. There it is. The problem though is that half the crowd is cheering when Rusev beats up Roman. Lana in the cake. That was pretty funny. Of course the match gets made after the fact. Roman Reigns vs Rusev at Summerslam for the US Title.

Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooks - stipulation of this match if Sasha wins then Dana is banned from ringside at Summerslam but if Dana wins then it is a handicap match at Summerslam. That seems to hurt Charlotte though. If it is a handicap match then Charlotte can't win the title. I'm not sure what the idea is behind this. Unless they allow it to be for the title which is kind of how it sounds. Well, it's going to be a 1 on 1 match I guess. I honestly think I would have been upset if Dana was involved. I want one of them to win without anyone getting involved. I don't care if Charlotte cheats to win but I don't want Dana involved.

Luke Gallows vs Kofi Kingston - this might actually be the time to take the titles from the New Day. Without Big E in the mix that would really open up New Day to losing pretty easily. Plus it would set up a return match once Big E is healthy again for them to get the titles back later. Could be interesting. Whoa! That didn't seem like a big enough move to end that match.

Mick Foley is out in the ring and now it is time for Daniel Bryan to come out on Raw again. Probably more popular than nearly the entire Raw roster. It's too bad that he had to retire. Reactions like his are nearly impossible to manufacture. Whoa. Rusev is coming out. Whoa, now Cesaro has come out. Interesting. Rusev vs Cesaro for the US title. I'm not sure what the point is though if Roman Reigns is facing Rusev for the US title at Summerslam. I don't think Cesaro is going to win so why have the match. And in the end it ended exactly how I excpted it to end. Enough ends? Rusev and Reigns at Summerslam and likely Cesaro and Sheamus as well (maybe the pre-show....).

Still, overall I enjoyed Raw. It's still not blowing me away though. I don't feel like there is really any new talent on Raw besides Finn Balor. Everyone else I can think of that has been on the show the last 2 weeks was already called up from NXT before the draft. Hopefully that changes soon.

Raw Aug 15th

Oh good. Rusev and Lana in the ring to start the show. I'm so glad this is getting this much time on the show. This seems like a round-about way to force Reigns on us. This rivalry doesn't need this much time. Rusev shouldn't be allowed to talk. Leave that to Lana. Wow, Stephanie McMahon is coming out. She does not look happy though. And now Roman Reigns is coming out to "apologize". So, Rusev vs Roman to defend his wife's honor. I find myself not caring much anymore about this rivalry.

Sheamus vs Sami Zayn - this was an alright match. It felt like Sheamus was too slow to work well with Zayn. Still, entertaining that Sheamus lost.

Dudley Boyz vs New Day - the promo from the Club was awesome. I can't believe they let that happen. So many innuendos in that. Wow, the New Day just won that quickly without Big E. That's garbage. The Dudley Boyz really are just jobbers now.

Nia Jax vs Rachel Levy - so, another squash match? While part of me understands what they are doing it feels like a waste of time to do this sort of thing.

Brock Lesnar time! Uh, Heath Slater is coming out? Heath has to face Brock in order to get a contract. I wasn't really paying attention to whether or not he needs to win in order to get the contract. Whoa! Brock just swore. Brock is beating the crap out of Heath now. I wonder if he gets a contract now.... Hype hype hype. And promo is over.

Kevin Owens vs Big Cass - respectable match. Love the ending with Owens and Jericho standing tall.

Primetime Players vs Shining Stars - this feels really strange. I thought they were fighting each other. Something will likely happen during this match and they will fight each other again. Wow, no surprise there. Shining Stars win the match because Titus attacked Darren Young. Predictable as ever.

Neville vs Jinder - was anyone surprised at who won this match? Yay Neville! I'm not upset but I didn't think Jinder had a chance.

Seth Rollins/Finn Balor segment - predictable as well. Not a surprise for the last Raw before the PPV though. It was pretty much what it needed to be though.

Golden Truth vs The Club - another match with a predictable result. I really would like to believe there was a small chance that another team could win. Oh, New Day attacking out of nowhere. That was actually pretty awesome.

Alicia Fox vs Charlotte - [sigh] Another match-up where the winner is obvious. So boring =/

Rusev vs Reigns - hey, a match that I could see ending a few different ways. What a nice change to the last 3 or 4 matches. Although, seeing another John Cena/Hulk Hogan esque victory is also lame.

I'm actually disappointed with Raw this week. I generally think it is okay or better (like 5/10) but this week I'd give it a 2/10.

I wish I could watch RAW, but I'm always working on Monday nights, it feels like, and it's three hours long, so I never have time to catch it on Dailymotion with people who upload it.

If they'd just make RAW two hours like Smackdown, it would be much more reasonable to watch.

Lord Leggy - King of IT : I agree! Most of the people from old WCW days felt like Nitro being 3 hours didn't ever really work and I think Raw has the same problem. 3 hours is too much time to fill.

As for finding time to watch it.... I tend to download it and watch it the next day if I'm not home to watch it.

geeogree :

Especially post-draft. I forget who is on RAW, since Smackdown's roster is more fun for me, but you have Rollins/Reigns/Sami Zayn/Rusev/New Day/Finn Balor. Basically the only people on RAW I know off the top of my head, but also probably your center pieces.

Smackdown manages to make a two hour show entertaining, and despite the "smaller" roster, they don't lack for quality. John Cena/AJ Styles/Dolph Ziggler/Dean Ambrose/The Miz/Randy Orton/American Alpha can all fit into a two hour show, while giving time to lesser talents.

Three hours is just too long to suck off Roman Reigns.

Lord Leggy - King of IT : and they certainly gave him a LOT of time this week. It was actually hard to watch. Nothing has actually changed with him except the title he is going after. He's still getting a push but it seems more subtle because he is going against someone the crowd hates so he is getting more cheers than boos. Putting him against AJ Styles or Seth Rollins even with those guys as "heels" didn't work because they're more popular than Reigns will ever be. At least this "works" even if it still feels like the same thing but for a different title.

Ugh Summerslam.

The hottest show of the summer?  Nope, Summerslam 2015 was way better.

Where do I start.

Dolph vs Ambrose- WWE world title.
To say the least I wasn't excited for this match,    I knew Dean was gonna walk away still champion because Dolph had nothing going for him.

To make things even worse,  This match was incredibly outdone by AJ vs Cena.

Lesnar V Orton.
Ugh, this seems like Creative got caught on the spot and pulled for a bloody ending last minute.  Brock Consistenly did Elbows to orton's head and made him bleed.   It was Gruesome and concerning,      So either WWE creative got caught on a bad spot or Brock Lesnar was being too rough in the match.

This isn't one of the good Gruesome moments, this was legitimately concerning to me.      And if you think about it,  Brock worked fairly safe with Cena back in 2014.  So what happened with Orton that made it go all berserk?

Shane came out and got F-5'd.  I'm hoping this doesn't turn into Lesnar V Shane at Hell in the Cell. My head tells me something like this will happen due to Dumb Creative team, but I seriously don't want it to.

Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins. This was a fairly good match and had a shocking finish with Finn being the new Universal champ.

On a side note, I can't blame anyone for hating on the new belt's design. It's a red leathered version of the Women's Championship.   People in WWE 2K16 had far better designed belt styles for The WWE Universal title.

On a side note again,   This matches ending also disappoints me because in the long run this means Finn Balor will only be able to feud with Seth Rollins for the time being.

Unless WWE Creative Pushes Someone like K.O to the main event or turns Reigns Heel this will be a dreadfully long feud for the Raw Brand.

AJ styles VS Cena.  This thing was match of the night pure and simple.      It really evalated AJ styles as a Main Eventer, and hopefully if WWE creative is smart, they make AJ feud with Ambrose for the World title.

Roman V Rusev.    This one didn't even start out due to a brawl. Disappointing.      Come on Vince,   We all know you want Roman to have another Championship,  you don't need to delay it.

This decision didn't benefit either Wrestler and once again made Rusev look fairly weak, If not weaker then when he went against Cena at wrestemania last year.

Charlotte V Sasha Banks.    Yeah this was a decent match, and sasha has to take time off due to injury.  But on the plus side I'm actually happy that Charlotte won,  This actually brings her a lot of Heat as a Heel which she needs.  Charlotte is the main event heel that the Women's Division needs, so they need to keep her character important.
Especially considering imo, Smackdown has the better Womens roster.

Conclusion.  Summerslam had some highlights to it, but it had some fairly terrible decisions too.  It was a good show but with bad and confusing decisions.

I'm personally gonna be looking forward to Smackdown this week over Raw.
