Raw - Feb 29th

Oh good. We're starting the night with Triple H. Nasal reconstructive surgery.... sometimes wrestling goes too far with the story. No one believes that sort of thing. That would be a lawsuit if that happened in basically any other industry. Also, if he was hurt so bad he had surgery he wouldn't be cleared to fight in a month. Whatever.

Great. Another Triple H monologue. Also, are they resting Roman Reigns in order to make sure he gets to Wrestlemania..... don't want another injury ruining plans....

Weird. Ambrose is coming out. At least the monologue didn't last 15 minutes this time. Really, Ambrose thinks he can beat Triple H. I'm not a Triple H fan or anything but that's a bit of a joke. Ambrose wants a title shot against Triple H. That's not gonna happen. This is taking FOREVER! So, Ambrose gets a match tonight against Del Rio. Sounds like that is the main event. That is sad

Becky vs Sash - #1 Contenders match. The early part of this match was really good. I like how fast and hard they were working the match. Not everything was as strong or clean as it should have been but I do prefer a bit of realism to the work. Not everything works exactly like you want it to and that makes it more believable. And a commercial break. The match was 2 minutes old and already a commercial. I hate commercial breaks in matches. Ruins the momentum of the match. Still, glad the match is still going well even after the commercial break. Interesting. That move off the top rope and it looks like a double pin. Looks like a draw. Crowd is chanting triple threat. That could easily be an awesome match with all 3 in it. 1 on 1 wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

Ziggler vs Miz - wow, I don't think there was really any time to talk about this match because it was over before it really started.

Oh no.... Stephanie McMahon is coming out again. Seriously. I thought we had survived and didn't have to listen to her. Ugh. What a waste of time. Blah blah blah. Let's have some WRESTLING!

Lucha Dragons vs Rusev and Sheamus - watching a match like this I always wonder how these guys don't get squashed. Sure they are fast but they shouldn't last long once they started getting beat up. There you go. Beat down. I'm glad it turned out that way. Lucha Dragons winning that match just wouldn't make any sense.

Ryback vs Adam Rose - So, Ryback is going to beat this guy. Just give it some time. And 2 minutes later he did it. Seems like more time is spent talking about wrestling than is actually spent showing any wrestling.

New Day vs Jericho and Styles - nice match. I watched the match rather the writing about it. I'm interested to see if they give Jericho and Styles the titles at Wrestlemania. That'll be a nice thing for Styles. Give him a chance to be a champ in a tag team before giving him a chance at a singles title. Oh, next week on Raw instead. I was expecting Wrestlemania.

Oh good Vince McMahon is coming out. Blah blah blah. Shane can't win. Undertaker is going to win. Shane doesn't stand a chance. Blah blah blah. Undertaker is finally back. His entrance never gets old even if it does take forever to do. I'm still confused about why the Undertaker is fighting Shane. Why would he even agree to do it.

Uso's vs Dudleys - seriously.... how many matches have lasted less than 5 minutes. At least half of them. These short matches are brutal.

Big Show vs Kevin Owens - ANOTHER short match. Seriously. The talking segments are 2-3 times as long as the matches. This is getting annoying.

Brie vs Naomi - wow, another match that didn't even last 5 minutes. This show started off well but it is going downhill.

Ambrose vs. Del Rio - well, at least this match has gone more than 5 minutes.... but before it managed to hit 10 HHH came out. Yup, 4 on 1 attack on Ambrose. Not even a 10 minute match. Bleh. Another beat down by Triple H.

This Raw was a big disappointment. I liked 2 matches on the entire night. A lot of the rest of the night was crappy less than 5 minute matches or segments that went on way too long. I hope the closer Wrestlemania gets the better things go. I don't know if I can put up with 4 more Raws that are that boring.

WWE Roadblock

I know this wasn't exactly a PPV but it seemed like it should be considered as such.

New Day vs. Sheamus/Barrett - good enough match though 2 heel teams facing each other doesn't make tons of sense. Who do you cheer for....

Swagger vs Jericho - no idea why this match is happening. The match itself was just fine but I don't get why Swagger and Jericho are fighting.

Amore/Cassady vs. The Revival - so, NXT tag team championship on the line. I don't watch NXT right now so I have no idea who these guys are. Still enjoyed the match. These guys all seem to have some potential (in time) to move up to WWE. Might not be for a year or 2 but I could see it happening.

Charlotte vs Natalya - this is a championship match but Charlotte is already in a triple threat match for Wrestlemania so there is basically no chance of Natalya actually winning this match. That would make no sense at all. The only reason this is happening is because they are in Canada. And Charlotte cheats to win. No surprise. They aren't messing with that Wrestlemania triple threat.

Brock Lesnar vs some Wyatts - I get this has something to do with the Royal Rumble but it seems like a pointless match. Also, Bray looks like he is not going to be involved in any way.

Sami Zayn vs Stardust - this match has some potential. Zayn won! I'm a bit surprised honestly. I figured that Stardust would have beat Zayn but building up Zayn is more important.

Ambrose vs HHH - this is like the Charlotte/Natalya match. No one believes Ambrose is going to win. WTF.... Ambrose won. Who cares where Ambrose's feet were. I've NEVER seen that before. It happens when the guy being pinned has his feet under the rope but not the guy doing the pinning. What a joke call. And HHH wins. That was what I was expecting.

Now, the ONLY way they can make this help Wrestlemania would be to somehow include Ambrose in the match because he nearly beat HHH. He's in a match with Lesnar there though so I don't know how that would work. Still, why have the controversial pin moment if it won't mean anything. I guess we'll find out on Raw tonight.

Raw March 14th

New Day vs. League of Nations – tag team title match. Not sure why it’s happening again after happening at Roadblock 2 days ago but okay! And my question that I had when they had the match at Roadblock – who is the heel team. ‘’ So, New Day won but League of Nations beat them up. Is this supposed to be a face turn for New Day or what…. I’m not sure where this is going.

Here comes Ambrose – I wonder if there is going to be any spin because of the almost win on Saturday. I think there should be but I don’t know if it will happen. Uh oh, here comes Lesnar! I wonder how this is going to turn out. I honestly hope that it pushes towards some sort of 3 or 4 way title match. Yeah yeah, if we fight you’ll never get to Wrestlemania because he’ll destroy you. And now Heyman is gone. Brock didn’t go with him. And Ambrose has a crowbar. And Brock is going to circle the ring. And then he’ll leave because there is no reason to go into the ring. Kind of a waste of a segment. Disappointed with that. Oh well, hopefully their match is better than the buildup has been.

Sin Cara vs Ryback – wow, this match has botch written all over it. Both of these guys can really blow it in the ring. Sin Cara already has had a few screw-ups. And Ryback wins. Big surprise . At least Sin Cara didn’t have a major botch that I noticed.

Stephanie McMahon is coming out. Wow, she came out for the sole purpose of introducing HHH. Lame! Wow, HHH is trying to be the heel so badly. This is sad. I don’t see what the point of this rant is. Just shut up. What an annoying rant. Wow, Dolph Ziggler is coming out. I’m really confused about this. I guess he’s coming out to stand up for the people and tell the Authority they can’t stop him from doing what he loves. Teasing a Ziggler heel turn. Not going to happen. And Stephanie hits yet ANOTHER man on the show and no one does anything about it. What a “great” woman she is. Ziggler versus HHH. I actually like this. This could do a lot for Ziggler.

Sami Zayn vs The Miz – Owens is at ringside. Can’t imagine that he won’t get involved somehow . Whatever, I’ll watch Zayn wrestle regardless of his opponent. Zayn won the match which is good. I’d like to see Zayn and Owens against each other.

Uso’s vs Social Outcasts – that was a strange match. It was a bit chaotic but the Uso’s got the win and likely are going to face the Dudleyz at Wrestlemania (or at the pre-show).

Mick Foley just gave Ambrose a baseball bat covered in barbed wire. I don’t remember what he called it but if they use that it would be pretty crazy.

Ziggler vs HHH – Of course HHH wins. And here comes Roman Reigns. This really shouldn’t be a surprise. With only 3 weeks to go he would need to come back. This is actually turning into a pretty good brawl. Uso’s and Mark Henry stopped him. Probably some of the only guys who could stop him.

Jericho vs Neville – interesting. Jericho got DQ’d. Also looks like Neville got hurt. Oh good. AJ is coming out. That was a bit of a screw-up. At least they handled it alright.

Vince McMahon is coming to the ring and he’ll probably ramble for a while about nothing. Now Undertaker is coming out. Maybe he’ll say 10 words instead of 5 this time. Maybe not any words at all. Here comes Shane! Undertaker still hasn’t said anything. Yay, Undertaker just choke slammed Shane. I’m not really sure how this storyline is supposed to be playing out. Undertaker is doing this unwillingly it seems. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me but okay.

Wrestlemania Card + Predictions

US Championship - Kalisto vs. Ryback - I can't see this going any other way than Ryback winning. Kalisto has won too many times against Ryback that I can't see him not getting the title. You never know though. Wrestlemania is usually a fan service night and Ryback is the heel going into the match so they might leave the title on Kalisto.

Total Divas vs Bad Blondes - I don't really care who wins and likely it won't matter unless they try to push these 2 groups as storyline going forward. As long as every gets a chance to show what they can do and not get stuck with a 10 minutes match for 10 people then I'll be happy.

Uso's vs Dudleys - I see the Dudleys coming away with this one honestly. They'll cheat to win, maybe try to put the Uso's through a table and then either someone will come for the save or the previously hurt Uso will make the save just in time and the Dudleys will run off.

New Day vs. League of Nations - the build up for this match makes me think the League of Nations will win. New Day have been champs for way too long and seem to be making a face turn. Having the League of Nations beat them (especially in a cheaty way) at Wrestlemania might make the New Day face turn final and have story going into the next few months as they try to get their titles back.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal - this is one of those events that they use to get everyone who has nothing going on into a match at Wrestlemania. It is meaningless and unless there is a surprise entrant I don't think it really matters who wins. Of course it could be used positively for someone going forward but that's giving WWE too much credit.

Styles vs Jericho - I think Styles will win this match. I can't see a reason to let Jericho win it. This feud has lasted long enough and it is time for Styles to move on to someone else. Jericho winning would only perpetuate the feud I think. Either way this has a chance to be the best match of the night for me from a Wrestling perspective.

Intercontinental Championship Match - I only want 2 people to win this. Either K. O. keeps the title or Sami Zayn wins it. Everyone else in the match has either already held the belt or would be annoying with it.

Davi's Championship Triple Threat - I hope Sasha wins this match honestly. I don't really care who wins it but I think Sasha as the champ would be awesome. Then have Bailey come up to WWE to challenge for the title and have another great match between those 2. Still, as long as they are given 15-20 minutes of match time this should work out really well.

Shane vs Undertaker - I don't really know how to call this one. If Shane wins then he gets to control Raw and Taker no longer competes at Wrestlemania. If Shane loses then Taker can compete still and Shane disappears I guess. I can only see Shane winning as the outcome. This isn't Taker's last match but it might be his last Wrestlemania match. We can only hope that whatever his last match is will be worth the build up for it. Maybe Summerslam. At least Shane isn't as likely to really hurt the Undertaker as Lesnar was.

Ambrose vs Lesnar - Lesnar will win this but it will take a LOT to put Dean away. That way both guys still go over but Lesnar doesn't get beaten. Lesnar will still look like a monster in and out of the ring and Dean gets props for going toe to toe with Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Can't see it going any other way.

Triple H vs Reigns - I honestly see Reigns winning this. I can't see them keeping the belt on Triple H for any longer. I just hope that the finish to the match is good. I don't want this to be a clean 1, 2, 3 win. Something needs to happen to cause Reigns to win and hopefully it includes a heel turn because otherwise they are going to lose Reigns as a useable talent.

So, those are my predictions. I'll write out my reactions to the event as it happens and I'll see how good my predictions were. I hope that in spite of how depleted the roster is right now that they can pull off a good Wrestlemania.

Wrestlemania 32

Don't care about the music at the start. Let's get the show on the road!

Match 1 - Intercontinental Title Match - I'm excited about this one. This should be entertaining and should more than likely result in a title change. I actually like the recognitition that the announce teams are getting before this match. That's cool. Sami Zayn and KO starting the match out! Ouch! Ladder in the back. I'm not going to be able to keep up with everything that happens. I'm going to stop trying. Needless to say the match has LOTS going on.

Wow, Zack Ryder won! I'm honestly surprised by that one. Still, great for him. He's done a lot for WWE and never really gotten much to show for it. This could be a great push for him depending on how the next few months go. I'm wrong after the first match

AJ Styles vs Jericho - looking forward to this one. That was an awesome match. I understand why they had them fight again at Wrestlemania. Too bad that Jericho won but still loved the match. I guess I'm 0-2 now.

Wow, New Day dressed as Sayians and with unicorn horns on their heads. So random. So, New Day vs League of Nations.... doesn't look like this is for the title though. Kind of sad to see that honestly. I'd rather see a title match. And the League of Nations won. No surprise there. Match wasn't for the title so having them lose doesn't really matter. Oh no, they're going to talk about their win. Lame. Someone is coming out.... I knew it. HBK! In his ring gear.... interesting. Mick Foley too! That's awesome. I'm a fan of both of these guys. YES!!!!!!!!!! Austin! That's awesome! Seriously awesome! The crowd went insane when his music hit. Still it is 3 on 4.... there goes Barrett to the New Day. Oh no, socko! Gross! HBK with a super kick. And Austin hit a stunner! And Barrett into the ring gets hit by all 3 finishers! Total fan service moment right there and I don't think too many people care. Oh no.... they are trying to get everyone to dance. HAHAHA! Stunned him! Awesome! Oh, I called the League of Nations win. 1/3 now.

Oh yes! Lesnar is coming out! Lesnar vs Ambrose - not much of a street fight when the entire match stayed right around the ring. It was basically just a no DQ match. Whatever. Still fun to see Brock Lesnar dominate someone the way he does.

Becky vs Sasha vs Charlotte - triple threat WWE Women's title match. It seems like they are getting rid of the Diva's title and making it the WWE Women's championship. I'm actually glad they are getting rid of the Diva's championship. Wow! Flair held Sasha outside the ring during the finish of that match. That was pretty smart. I would have preferred a clean win for someone but that was a pretty smart way to end it. I think I picked Sasha to win this match so I'm 1/4 now.

Shane vs. Undertaker - I liked Shane's kids coming out. That was pretty cool. However, nothing beats an Undertaker entrance at Wrestlemania. So, Undertaker wins.... what does that mean for Shane. Was he brought back for Wrestlemania because of all the injuries.... just doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense. Still, that elbow drop off the cage was awesome. Too bad it didn't hit.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal - I don't know who to pick for this one. Too many people to choose from. Wow, DDP. Didn't expect him. Shaq.... are you kidding me. WTF is he doing here.... alright, double chokeslam from Shaq and Big Show was pretty awesome. Glad they got taken out right away though. I don't mind guests as long as they don't pretend these guys could win. Baron Corbin won! I'm a bit shocked about that one. I imagine he won't be an NXT guy for much longer if he won this match at Wrestlemania. I didn't call a winner for that so I'm not really counting it for or against myself.

So, cheerleaders.... AND THE ROCK! Yay! Talk already! Seriously. Blah blah blah. The Rock says blah blah blah. Get on with it! I like the Rock but he talks too much and gets too much praise considering how little he has done in the last decade in wrestling. He came out to announce the attendance record.... seriously. What a waste of time. Have the ring announcer do that right before a match or something. Any excuse to have the Rock come to an event.... kind of lame for the Rock honestly. He announced attendance. Wyatts.... seriously! Now I'm interested! That ramp is a bit long.... this is taking a LONG time. So, Bray and the other Wyatts are going to fight the Rock. Obviously . Get on with it! Wow, it is also going to be a match. I'm surprised by that. Rock vs Rowan it looks like. Wow.... he just won in 6 seconds. Nevermind about the "match" I guess. This is more what I was expecting. 3 on 1. JOHN CENA! WHAT! Wow. Another fan service moment! That was fun. Totally pointless but fun.

Main Event time! HHH vs Reigns - EW! Stephanie looks gross. Wow, HHH's entrance was big and elaborate and Reigns basically just walked out. Champ vs Challenger I guess. Oh, he got some Pyro outside too. That was pretty cool. Nice! Reigns speared Stephanie. HHH has the sledgehammer... that needs to be retired already. Reigns wins! And he beat HHH clean. I'm actually surprised by that one. I was hoping for something else to happen but it seems like WWE wants Reigns to win as the babyface. The match was pretty good though being in there with HHH pretty much guarantees a good match.

This was far from a great Wrestlemania but considering the number of injuries they had going into it they did a respectable job. Overall I'd say a 6.5/10 I enjoyed it overall but felt like it just didn't have enough going on to make me love it. Most of the best moments were just random surprise people showing up. I enjoy those but you have to have a good group of matches to go along with it and I didn't feel like this year had that.

Raw - Apr 4th

Starting out the show with Vince! Interesting to see where the storyline with Shane goes from here. Sounds like Vince got whatever "stuff" Shane had on him. I wonder if Shane comes back at all after this. I don't see how he can but we'll see. Vince is leaving on a cryptic note and hopefully he's right.

SHANE!!!! YES! He's walking gingerly out from the back. I'm honestly surprised he is here tonight. Wow, Shane is taking the loss pretty well. I wonder where this goes from here. He's getting a "You still got it" chant. That's pretty awesome. Vince didn't let him leave.... Shane is in charge for tonight.... I wonder how that goes. Does Shane somehow get control depending on how he does.... that'll be interesting. I hope so cause having Shane around is fun. He brings life to the show.

New Day is coming out. It's a title match tonight! League of Nations will be their opponents. I see the title change happening tonight. We'll have to see though. I don't know how many chances the League of Nations is going to get. That didn't take all that long to have the New Day win again. I guess the League of Nations isn't going to win the titles. Wow, they're getting rid of Barrett. He's not resigning so they're taking him out. Not surprised honestly. He shouldn't be part of big storyline if he's going to be leaving the company. Wyatts now! Attacking the league of nations! No idea why they're attacking the Leage of Nations but this is a crazy start to the night.

Summar Rae vs Sasha - wow, this didn't even last long enough for me to type anything other than Sasha Banks winning the match. Good for her I guess.

Tyler Breeze vs Apollo Crews - Apollo is an NXT guy who is getting her first match on the main shows. Interested to see how he does. The highlight reel they showed of him makes him sound pretty awesome. And he doesn't have the angry black man personality yet. Wow, another quick match. I liked the move he ended with. It was pretty awesome. Apollo Crews seems pretty likeable and has some good moves.

Reigns coming to the ring getting booed. Not surprised honestly because a lot of people don't want Reigns as champion. Wow, open challenge to anyone! I like that. Just hope it's not John Cena. Jericho! Interesting. STYLES! YES YES YES! Let it be AJ! Kevin Owens!!!!!! YEEEEESSSSSS! Toss Jericho out of the ring and let the 3 remaining guys fight it out. SAMI ZAYN!!!!! He doesn't deserve to go for the title but I like him too. So, who is fighting Reigns.... I want to know! And he keeps getting booed.

Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler - this should be a pretty good match. Corbin looked good in the battle royal and Ziggler sells really well so this match should be quality. I'm not really sure who won. Corbin really took it to Ziggler though. Probably double DQ.

Ryder vs Miz - are you serious... not the Miz. I can't stand the Miz. Zack got the title for 1 day and then loses it. Such garbage!

Some sort of Women's championship ceremony thing that ended with everyone walking out on Charlotte. Filler

Uso's vs Dudleyz - a tables match. Who'd have thunk it Dudleys won the match. What a surprise. It was a tables match. Oh well. Maybe they can do something better with these guys now that Wrestlemania is over.

Styles vs Kevin Owens vs Jericho - sounds like no Sami Zayn in the match. CESARO!!!!! YES YES YES YES YES! I love it! So glad he's back. This guy is so awesome. I really don't know who is going to win this match. It could be any of the 4. Actually, I doubt Jericho will win. That would be terrible. I wish Jericho had gotten beaten up and Zayn was in the match. That would have been better. Still, this match is awesome. Seriously can't wait to see who wins! I'm hoping for Styles but I'll take anyone but Jericho at this point. Sharpshooter by Cesaro! Come on! NO! Not Jericho! OH GOOD! I was going to be pissed if Jericho beat Styles again. Styles clash! Come on! 1! 2! 3!!!!!! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!! Styles is going for the Heavyweight Belt! THANK YOU! So glad that happened! I'm so hyped for next week!

Raw April 11th

Interesting. Shane McMahon coming out to start Raw. Clearly there is more to Shane being back than there was before. Sounds like Shane is in charge of Raw again tonight. Not sure how many times they are going to do this before he just becomes the guy in charge. I wonder if he’ll have to have another match with someone else or something. I could see this becoming a Shane vs Stephanie and HHH story. Wow. I like Shane in charge so far. Tag Team tournament for the #1 contender spot, Natalya vs Charlotte for the Women’s Championship and Sami Zayn vs AJ Styles for an opportunity to join Styles against Reigns for the Heavyweight Title. I’m liking this so far.

And out comes Kevin Owens! Interested to see what he’s out here for. He doesn’t seem to think Zayn deserves a chance at the heavy weight title. And Shane doesn’t seem to think that Owens deserves anything. Kevin Owens vs Cesaro for the #1 contender spot for the intercontinental title. And that’s the end of Shane’s time in front of the camera tonight.

Cesaro vs Owens – I’m so glad Cesaro is back. I’m totally part of the Cesaro Section! Finally someone who is strong enough to go toe to toe with Owens. These guys could have a really good rivalry. This match has been awesome so far. Lots of hard hitting moves. Each guy has locked in a submission move and each has gotten out. And then the frog splash from Owens which should have ended the match honestly. A guy the size of Owens hitting a move like that would end the match. Cesaro did the swing but had to stop because his shoulder is hurt. Cesaro won! That was a pretty smooth last sequence of moves at the end. Lots of moves and counter-moves before Cesaro hit the neutralizer and won the match.

The Dr. Phil segment with Charlotte and Ric Flair was awesome. Seriously funny. And it’ll be interesting to see how long it takes for the wedge that Dr. Phil put between Charlotte and Ric to finally split them up. Hopefully it takes a while. Also, the New Day coming out for a bit to announce the start of the tag team tournament was entertaining. I liked the basketball references. I can’t imagine how much effort it takes for them (or the writers) to come up with new material for these guys to say.

Lucha Dragons vs Dudley’s – so, they started this match during the commercial break. That’s pretty lame. Looks like Kalisto got “hurt” and is now outside the ring being tended by the doctor. Need a reason to eliminate the Lucha Dragons easily. There is no way Sin Cara can beat the Dudley’s 2 on 1. And there it is. They hit the 3D and beat Sin Cara. Dudley’s advance in the tournament. No surprise there. Can’t have the US champ going for the Tag Titles as well. And here come Enzo and Cass. “And you can’t teach that!” These guys are funny. The only reason I exist is because my mom and dad got it on. That’s hilarious! I like these guys a lot.

Reigns is coming down to the ring to a chorus of boos! And they are reliving Roman Reigns winning again. I guess they’ll do that for a while. They are booing so loud that Reigns can’t talk. I like it! Keep it up! Wait a second…. What are the League of Nations doing out here? Sounds like one of them want a title shot as well. I wonder if they are going to get added into the match or not. Nah, most likely it’s going to be a 3 on 1 fight and AJ will come out and help…. WHOA! Nope! Wyatt’s instead! Reigns and the Wyatt’s worked together for a moment. Now the Wyatt’s are looking to attack Reigns. This is so convoluted. Shane just came out and made a match with Reigns and Bray vs the League of Nations. That’ll be interesting. That’s the main event for the night.

So, Dr. Phil is coming to the ring. Having him as a host is so strange. I guess he’s just out here to watch the match and not actually say anything.

Charlotte vs Natalya – the Flair theme never gets old to me. I love this song as an intro. It just sounds so good. I guess having it be Flair’s theme for so long has made it sound like the theme of a champion. Also, Natalya is from Calgary, because that matters to me! I’m loving this match so far! Natalya is such a good technical wrestler that it makes her matches more interesting to watch. It’s not like watching the Bella’s or some of the other women in a match. They moves are pretty well executed and clean with Natalya. Nice! German Suplex by Natalya but Charlotte blocked it. I’m so glad to see someone try multiple covers on their opponent. Kicking out has got to drain your energy no matter how “planned” the match is. It is still more believable than trying just once and giving up. Charlotte missed the moonsault! Charlotte just tapped out but more than likely the match will be a DQ because of Ric Flair. Yup. Charlotte kept the title.

Uso’s vs Social Outcasts – not really a fan of either of these teams right now. They could both lose and I’d be okay with that. At least the Uso’s won. They are the better team of the 2. BULLET CLUB! YES! Out of nowhere they attacked the Uso’s! Anderson and Gallows! So awesome. I’m so glad they came straight to WWE! BULLET CLUB BULLET CLUB BULLET CLUB BULLET CLUB BULLET CLUB BULLET CLUB BULLET CLUB! So excited to see these guys here! Can’t wait to see what they do with these 2 guys now.

Styles vs Zayn – this is going to be an awesome match! Styles wants to keep his match a 1 on 1 and Zayn wants in on the match. These guys are both such good workers that I can’t see this match being anything but a good match. I really hope no one gets involved (like Jericho or Owens or anyone). I wonder if it is actually true that these guys have never had a 1 on 1 match. Man these 2 guys are intense! I hate how the WWE treats their title like it is something that only the super elite can possibly win. Sure, some greats have won it but many of the greats haven’t won it but should have and many people who are average, mid-carders at best have won it when they shouldn’t have. Seriously! Those arm-drags were awesome! So fast! Styles called that dropkick! These guys do such good work. It’s not just the speed they do it with but they are always moving and trying to counter each other. They aren’t lazy about what they do. Whoa! That knee from the apron was awesome! This match is showcasing why these 2 guys should have been in the WWE a long time ago. Pump-handle into a knee in the gut! And that was after a bunch of other moves in a row. Fireman’s carry into a back-breaker! Styles still has some awesome moves in his repertoire. Styles went for the Clash but Zayn blocked it into a pin. Didn’t win but that was good. And a cross body off the top into a pin for Zayn but that didn’t result in a win either. Wow! That DDT off the ropes was also awesome. Both guys pulling out some serious stuff in order to try and win the match. Pele kick! I love that move! Blue thunder bomb! Styles kicked out of it! Wow! Styles was going for the fore-arm but Zayn dodged it and got the Blue Thunder Bomb on Styles. So close each way! Calf crusher! Zayn got to the ropes! This match is seriously awesome. Styles went to the top rope but Zayn got up there to stop Styles. What just happened? It looked like Zayn dropped on his head but he got right up from it and kicked Styles in the face! Styles managed to roll out of the ring and hit the forearm to take Zayn down. After that he got the 3 count. It all happened so fast though. That was an awesome match!

Shane is in the back talking to Styles and Zayn. Looks like Styles and Zayn are still friends. Shane giving them props for what they did. I’d love to see these 2 guys wrestle over and over and over. They are unreal in the ring together.

Jericho segment – his guest was Ambrose. Ambrose took over Jericho’s show. Sort of a waste of time segment but whatever. I’m tired of Jericho right now. I’d be okay if he went on tour or something again.

Adam Rose vs Apollo Crews – I don’t see this match lasting long. Crews is awesome and is likely going to get a push over Adam Rose. Adam Rose is selling a bit hard in this match. And Crews wins the match. I like Crews and hope to see more of him. I hope they don’t give him an “angry black man” personality. I hate when they do that to black wrestlers. It’s such a bad stereotype.

Reigns and Bray vs League of Nations – I don’t really care about this match. Sure it is an interesting use of some of these guys but I don’t really care. Bray and Roman win the match. No surprise there. Not sure how this is going to affect things going forward but it was interesting. Bray Wyatt really needs a better push than he has been getting. He’s so popular right now. They are wasting their chances with him.

Overall, great Raw this week. Didn’t miss a beat from the post-Wrestlemania Raw that is usually one of the best of the year. Hopefully they can keep bringing people back or introducing new NXT guys to keep the show fresh. I’m loving the 6-8 new faces I’ve seen so far. A few tag teams a few singles competitors. It’s made Raw more enjoyable to watch.

Raw April 18th

Looks like this Raw is in the UK. Wow, they’re really sticking with this Ambrose Asylum thing. I guess he’s got a pretty good sense of humor. Really playing up it to the crowd. Interesting. Shane is coming out. Sounds like Shane is in charge again. I wonder if this is going to ever really be explained or if they are just going to keep doing this until we get used to Shane being “in charge”. I wonder if they had the same wardrobe person. You can tell he genuinely loves when the chants happen in his favor. I think he’s really glad to be back. Getting all the bang for their buck that they can out of that cell jump. I love UK crowds! They are so much fun. So, Shane is here to give back to the fans. He wants to make the fans happy. Here comes Kevin Owens! He got a big pop when his music hit. Owens is out here to complain about Zayn. I was hoping to see this feud properly on RAW. Let these guys go at it! Ugh, not Jericho. He is a great heel though. Ambrose is awesome! Got some PPV matches that just got made. Jericho and Ambrose against each other and Owens and Zayn against each other at Payback. Zayn and Owens is going to be awesome for sure. Those 2 guys were great in NXT and I can only hope that they will be good on PPV.

Jericho vs Zayn – starting the show with these 2. They had a match on Smackdown but not having interference might be nice this time. Zayn is awesome with those arm drags. Too much going on to cover it all while it happens. Not going to bother but I’ll enjoy the match instead. I love that DDT through the second rope on the outside. So awesome. It’s a bit slow but comes out of nowhere for the most part which is pretty awesome. Jericho hit the codebreaker and he gets the win. Cheating to win obviously but is anyone really surprised?

OH!!!! Interview with AJ Styles and who joins him? Andersen and Gallows! Love it! I’m so glad they didn’t ignore it.

Enzo and Cass vs Dudley’s – Enzo and Cass are SO OVER with the crowd. I’m really glad there are some new guys who can work the mic because a lot of the newer guys are pretty brutal. Dudley’s are coming out now to have a match. Enzo and Cass have beaten the Dudley’s! I’m pretty impressed. I wasn’t 100% sure if they would but I’m glad they did. The Dudley’s are back to put other teams over and not to have any more runs with the title.

Reigns is coming to the ring to a chorus of boos. And rightfully so. He should not be the champion. I can’t help but see him having a long run with the title in spite of hoping that AJ will beat him at Payback. I know WWE well enough that I have a hard time believing that they would let AJ win. Now he’s getting a boring chant leveled against him. And then AJ’s music hit and the crowd started cheering! Now there is an AJ Styles chant going through the building. This crowd is brutal to Reigns. The moment he started talking the crowd booed. Wow, I almost feel like Reigns’ talking points are slowly turning him heel. I’d rather be respected and champ than be liked without it. Andersen and Gallows are attacking Reigns and AJ didn’t look happy about it. I really hope this isn’t used to try and turn AJ heel. AJ is a terrible heel. He might be better now that he’s got more experience but he was bad in TNA. AJ tried to claim he wasn’t involved but Reigns doesn’t believe it. Not surprised.

Fandango vs Corbin - Ziggler is at ringside for the match. He’s got an issue with Corbin clearly. I like the idea of those 2 facing each other. Corbin against Ziggler would be a good feud. That was a pretty quick match. It was just an excuse to not have them wrestle each other but have Ziggler involved. Corbin beat Ziggler down pretty hard. I see a fair bit of potential with those 2 guys.

Miz + League of Nations vs Cesaro + New Day – I’m not even going to comment on this match. Not that it’s going to be bad but I just don’t care. Big E is so gross. They need to tell him to stop doing that gross groin gyration with his tongue out. It seriously makes me hate the New Day and I’m supposed to like them. Cesaro and the New Day won. Seemed like everyone at the end of the match got their finisher into the match. Pretty good overall match though. Pretty entertaining.

8 Woman Tag Team Match – I have to agree with what JBL said. This is by far one of the best eras in Women’s wrestling. There are quite a few women right now who are pretty good. I don’t know if we’ll ever have another Lita vs Trish type rivalry but the overall group of women is quite good. And of course the “good” team won. Fan service.

Uso’s vs Vaudevillans – I feel like I spelled that wrong. Still, they are an interesting team. And the Vaudevillains get past the Uso’s and are going to the finals against Enzo and Cass. 2 brand new teams are going to the finals to be #1 contender. I like that. No old team that people are tired of.

Cruz vs Slater – sounds like Cruz needs to win or he becomes a social outcast. With Adam Rose gone because he’s doing drugs they need another member. Well, they don’t need another member but it’s a good idea to use against every opponent they face. Cruz is going to win but it’s still entertaining. This is one of the longest matches Cruz has had on RAW. I’m still impressed by this guy and Slater did well against him.

Owens vs Ambrose – I don’t see this match ending clean so I’m curious who comes out first, Jericho or Zayn. Probably Jericho. It’s going to end up devolving into a mess though. Wow. This match actually went the distance. I was surprised. It has some awesome spots (the suplex off the top rope by Owens was awesome). I fully expected a run in though. Maybe that is being saved for next week. THERE WE GO! I knew Jericho would come in and attack Ambrose. Just a matter of time. One of the easiest ways to build heat in an otherwise bland rivalry.

So, Chyna died yesterday. The details aren't clear at this time but there is suspicion of overdose. That's unfortunate because I had heard that she was trying to get herself clean recently. I'm interested to hear the perspective of people who aren't part of WWE right now on how she was doing recently.

Another cool update from an NXT house show - Samoa Joe has won the NXT Title from Finn Balor. This is big in a few ways....

1. Winning a title at a house show is very rare. I know it has happened in the last 5 years but only once or twice and not the top title of the promotion. Usually it is the US title or something like that.

2. This frees Balor up for a move to the main roster. With a lot Bullet Club already on Raw they might be trying to relive some of that drama with AJ Styles going for the title. As long as they don't try to turn AJ heel in the process I don't really care. Have the Bullet Club interfere so AJ wins but AJ is pissed about it and then feuds with Finn Balor, Zayn and Owens for the title in the coming months. That would be so much fun to watch.


Not sure where this all is going but having Balor on the main roster along with Styles, Andersen and Gallows opens things up to a lot of possibilities.

Raw April 25th

Wow, in memory of Chyna. I’m actually impressed. I was not sure if they would do that or not. I wonder how much time they will give her during the show though.

Shane McMahon is starting the show! I guess they are going to completely ignore the Wrestlemania stipulation and are going to have Shane running the show from now on. Makes no sense but whatever. WWE does not seem to care about continuity anymore. WHAT?!?!? Stephanie McMahon is back. Interesting. I wonder how this is going to go. That was so awkward. Blah blah blah. Stephanie talks too much. There it is! This is Shane’s “last night” running Raw. At Payback Vince is going to pick the new person to run Raw. That just seems like a lame story to get around the Wrestlemania stipulation. Apparently Stephanie thinks she is sticking around by rindside. Sounds like Shane is going to get her removed from the building. HAHA! She does play the heel quite well. That was lame. She just smacked the security guard. So pathetic. She definitely represents women really well. Hitting men who disagree with her. Feminism what?

ANYWAY, back to the wrestling show! AJ Styles is starting the show. No announcement as to who he is facing though. I’ve got a hope as to who it is going to be but more than likely it’ll suck. Yup, Sheamus! Suck!

AJ Styles vs Sheamus – to be honest as much as I do not like Sheamus being in the ring with AJ Styles is good for Sheamus. AJ Styles can make just about anyone look good. AJ can sell and Sheamus needs someone to make him look strong. “Sheamus the veteran made him pay”…. Uhm, I think AJ Styles has been wrestling as long or longer than Sheamus has. Either way referring to anyone as a veteran while in the ring with AJ Styles is a joke. Of course WWE won’t see it that way but whatever. I really do not like that the “Phenomenal Forearm” can win a match. It should not be that good of a move when something like a tornado DDT does not finish someone off. Oh well.

New Day is coming out. Now the Vaudevillains are coming out and, as expected, Enzo and Cass are coming out. Enzo and Cass are so over. I would be surprised if they are not #1 contenders after payback.

Yippee, John Cena return announcement. Although honestly as much as he is not my favorite wrestler, he is good and has been giving lots of people great matches recently. I will be happy to have him back.

Uso’s vs Gallows and Anderson – I kind of like this situation. Uso’s got attacked by Gallows and Anderson on their debut. AJ Styles is facing Reigns. Each group has overlap in the situation. Makes this match seem like it means more even though it is just the first match they have had against each other. I’m really liking Anderson and Gallows as a tag team. I have always felt that some of the best tag teams utilize the big man small man dynamic. A lot of teams have 2 guys that are the same size, like the Uso’s, and I do not think those are as interesting to watch. There is less they can do in the ring compared to the big/small teams. I’m glad Gallows and Anderson got the win. I love how they are ignoring the fact that Gallows was around with CM Punk years ago but I guess remembering CM Punk is not something WWE wants to do right now. Reigns just came out to help the Uso’s. No AJ Styles came out to help Gallows and Anderson though. That should say something.

Sami Zayn vs Rusev (WITH LANA! ) – this is the first time I can remember seeing Lana in a while. LOOK AT RUSEV SHAKE HIS ARMS! HE IS SCARY! This entire match has been nothing but a beat down. Of course Zayn snuck out a win. Keep building him up! I want to see him continue winning. And there is Kevin Owens. You knew with the camera angle that that was coming. When they don’t show the entrance ramp after a match usually it means someone is coming. They don’t even need this to build up this rivalry but it does help.

Stardust vs Apollo Cruz – I can see this being a good match. Stardust is not going to get walked over even by this guy. I still think Cruz will get the win but Stardust should put up a fight. Nice to see Cruz have a real opponent this time around. Wow, that did not last as long as I expected. I was hoping for more. I know they are giving this guys some wins to get him established but I hope he gets more than 5 minutes next time. He needs to show more of what he can do.

Dean Ambrose + Chris Jericho segment – boring! Jericho can be good but does not need a 10 minute segment.

Emma vs Natalya – here comes Charlotte as well. She’s going to watch the match from ring side. That did not last long. Natalya won the match with the sharpshooter. I’m looking forward to having Breat in her corner at the PPV. Glad to have him back and hopefully he’s doing well after cancer surgery and treatment.

Here is the Chyna segment. I was wondering if and when this would happen. Glad she is getting some recognition though now that she can’t talk crap about WWE anymore they are willing to bring her back into the spotlight. It feels hypocritical to see all the Twitter posts saying how much they will miss her but I imagine most of those people didn’t talk to her at all after she left the company. Still, at least she’ll likely get her hall of fame induction now and be remembered for the good she did do rather than the mistakes she made after her time in WWE.

Well that was strange. It looked like Corbin was supposed to have a match and instead ZIggler attacked him and they had a little fight. I guess having either of them actually wrestle this week would make too much sense. Just have them randomly fight instead! 

Oh good, the Miz with a microphone. Kill me now! Go get him Cesaro! Shut him up already. Thank you! That took WAY too long to do but I’m glad it happened.

Reigns and AJ face to face. Each said about 5 words and then Reigns walked away. That felt awkward.

Del Rio vs Reigns – this match actually has some real potential. Del Rio can work and Reigns can be good on occasion. I hate Del Rio’s finishing move though. It is so contrived. He should stick with the cross arm breaker. Reigns won and now Anderson and Gallows are attacking Reigns. And here comes AJ to stop them. I’m not surprised by this at all. AJ takes a super man punch to the face. Styles just hit Reigns with the Phenomenal Forearm. Now it’s hard to tell if AJ is on the same side as Anderson and Gallows or not. It seemed one way but now it is hard to tell. I guess Finn Balor isn’t coming out tonight. I’m kind of sad about that. Still, I’m looking forward to this match. I really hope they give these guys the time they need to have a good match and I wonder how the finish will turn out. I’m excited…. But not because of Reigns

Payback Predictions

AJ vs Reigns - As much as it pains me to say this I honestly think Reigns will leave as champion. He may not win the match but he will leave as champ. I see Finn Balor and Anderson and Gallows being involved somehow. They may even cost AJ the match in the end. I just can't see AJ Styles actually being the champion even though I wish it were true.

Steph vs Shane - this isn't a match but it will affect the show going forward. Who gets to control Raw? I honestly see a brand split coming. With all the new tag teams and wrestlers coming up from NXT and hopefully all the injured guys coming back they should have enough people to fill 2 shows. If they do split the brands they should reduce Raw back down to 2 hours though. That should help the balance in my opinion.

Zayn vs Owens - I see this ending either as Owens winning in a cheap way or Owens getting DQ'd while trying to hurt Zayn in some way (maybe the power bomb on the apron). Either way I see Owens "winning" this first match-up and it building towards something more for the next PPV.

Charlotte vs Natalya - I think Charlotte is going to win this as well but I think there is a chance Natalya wins because they are bringing in Bret Hart for the match. Still, Charlotte seems like the more likely winner.

Corbin vs Ziggler - Corbin is winning this match. Ziggler will put up a good fight and make Corbin look good but I don't see Ziggler winning. You've got to give the new guys some wins to get them established on the main roster before you start evening out the wins and losses.

Ryback vs Kalisto - I actually think Ryback might win this. With Kalisto winning the last 2 matches they have had this could be Ryback's chance at actually winning the title. I hope not because Ryback is pretty boring but that is who I think will win.

Miz vs Cesaro - this is a tough one to call. I think Cesaro as champ for an extended period of time would be really interesting but I think Miz will cheat to keep the title. So, Cesaro win but Miz keeps the title.

Ambrose vs Jericho - I'm going to go for Ambrose on this one. He needs the win and Jericho needs his face pounded in. I think Jericho can put on great matches but he does get annoying as a heel after a while.

Tag Team #1 Contenders match - I'm actually going to go for the Vaudevillains and here is why. New Day as a team are face and the Vaudevillains are heels. They face each other and the Vaudevillains win, THEN Enzo and Cass can face them for the titles going forward. I think that would be better than the alternative. Of course New Day stays in the mix but it is time for them to lose their titles now that we've got more teams in the mix. I could see the Dudleys getting involved somehow to cost Enzo and Cass the win.


That should be all the matches for this Sunday. I'll post results once I've watched the show and see how close I was with my predictions.

geeogree : Feel bad you're the only one posting here, so here is another person to talk to about it. I'm going to give my predictions for Payback here as well:
AJ Styles VS Roman Reigns - Roman Reigns will walk out champion. WWE is trying to groom him to be the top dog, and giving him another 40-something day reign like he had between TLC-fallout RAW to the Royal Rumble. I don't think Anderson and Gallows will be going with Styles, and I can't see Finn coming up just yet, as he has his rematch against Samoa Joe at Takeover in June, I think Styles is going to try stopping Anderson and Gallows, and (probably a stretch) might go with Roman to form the Roman Empire as a stable. I just can't see how the match will lead to Reigns winning. I also can see Styles being with Anderson and Gallows, but still losing due to help from The Usos and Dean Ambrose. (BTW I really want a Bullet Club VS Shield feud, but it is doubtful)

Sami Zayn VS Kevin Owens - Watching these two since ROH days, I see Owens winning again in a cheap fashion, and I see something like a Falls Count Anywhere or Extreme Rules match at the next PPV. This will be the match that will steal the show.

Charlotte VS Natalya - Charlotte will win this match, and the reason is because Bret won't have the strength to stop Ric after his surgery. I think it was too soon to do this, and I would have given more time for Bret to recover after surgery. I would have continued with another Sasha VS Charlotte, and then moved on to this. Charlotte is also probably going to break Nicki's record because they want to give the title a fresh record so they don't have the Women's title having a record from the Diva's title.

Baron Corbin VS Dolph Ziggler - Corbin has to win this match, as Dolph is basically a guy who puts people over nowadays. I think he has one good title run left in him, but putting newer stars over like Corbin will be good for Corbin's record, and will show that he is a dominant force. I just hope he isn't fed to John Cena just like Rusev and Kevin Owens were.

Ryback VS Kalisto - I really don't care about this match, as it is on the pre-show, even though it is the United States title match. I see Ryback winning the match, as Kalisto is having a stale run as champ, and I wish they would actually build him to be the next Rey Mysterio.

The Miz VS Cesaro - I see Cesaro walking out with the title. I think Zack Ryder will help be the equalizer to Maryse. Ever since Cesaro's return and his new James Bond type gimmick, WWE will be pushing him to the moon, and hopefully not screwing it up like they did to him after the Andre the Giant Battle Royale at Wrestlemania 30.

Dean Ambrose VS Chris Jericho - I can't say who will win this match, but I would put my money on Ambrose. Jericho's heel run here has been some of his best work since his 2008 work against Shawn Michaels, and this rivalry is way overdue, as this should have happened after Ambrose and Jericho had some heat against each other after the match against The Wyatt Family at Night of Champions last year, but better late than never, and this is more entertaining with the Ambrose Asylum replacing the Highlight Reel.

The Vaudevillains VS Enzo and Cass - The Vaudevillians are going to win, and most likely from a distraction from the Dudley Boys. Enzo and Cass are very popular, and the New Day needs a little more time to hit the record of longest combined reigns as Tag Champs, and Enzo and Cass need a bit more build-up to become legitimate threats to The New Day. As much as I want the New Day to become longest reigning Tag Team champions, I can't say if they will beat Paul London and Brian Kendrick's reign at 331 days.

Control of RAW - This is important, because this will control the Reigns VS Styles feud most likely. I see the brand split happening again here, having Shane take control of RAW, and The Authority making their new stomping grounds Thursday Night Smackdown. Really hoping that this means we get the World Title back, and maybe a separation of WWE and World Tag Titles, but I don't want the Women's Title to separate, and I would like for it to be the WWE and World Women's Titles, maybe using the old Women's title before the Diva's title.

Man, this was a lot of stuff. Maybe I can do reviews of the PPVs if my predictions are this long.

tyranit : yeah, seems like we are on the same page about a lot of this stuff. There are results I want to see happen and then there is what I expect WWE to do. To be fair, giving the fans what they want exactly when they want it is bad booking. Making the fans wait a bit before letting them have the result they've been waiting for makes the final result so much better.

Still, I see Finn Balor interfering with the Styles match alongside Gallows and Anderson. Or at the very least coming out with them to surprise Styles and cause him to lose the match. I don't see this win being a clean one either way. If Styles wins it will be because of interference and if Reigns wins it will be because of a distraction or "help" from Gallows and Anderson (and hopefully Balor).

The rest of the show pretty much mimics my predictions. A couple small differences like Cesaro winning but Miz keeps the title but beyond that I think we both see similar results happening.

Payback Results

Ryback Vs Kalisto – Kalisto won this one. I didn’t think Kalisto would win this one. 0-1 right now.

Enzo and Cass vs. Vaudevillains – not sure what they’re going to do with this one. I imagine if this injury is as serious as it seems to be then the Vaudevillains are the impromptu winners. I’m calling 1-1 since I expect Enzo and Cass won’t be able to compete more than likely.

Zayn vs Owens – wow. Clean win for Owens. I’m actually surprised by that. I expected him to cheat to win. Still, I’m claiming 2-1 on this one since Owens did win.

Cesaro vs Miz – awwww, Mix won that match with a pinfall. I was close but not quite what I was expecting. 2-2.

Ambrose vs Jericho – Ambrose gets the win on this one. This was the only thing that made sense going forward. Jericho doesn’t need the win like Ambrose did. 3-2.

Charlotte vs Natalya – well, technically I’m right. Charlotte did win even if the ref called the bell early. Did they seriously just do the Montreal screw job again? Oh well, 4-2 for me I guess.

So, Shane and Stephanie have to work together? That’s interesting I guess.

Styles vs Reigns – win by count out for Styles. That seems cheap. I’m really disappointed by this. Oh, Shane McMahon coming out. Restarting the match with no count outs. Not again! Low blow? Seriously! Why are they messing with this? Can’t they just have a clean win? Now Stephanie is coming out…. Now the match is no DQ. Gallows and Anderson and the Uso’s all got involved of course. No Balor. And Roman Reigns wins in the end. I expected Reigns to end as champion somehow but I’m not happy about it. 5-2.

Stephanie McMahon is coming out to start the show. Not sure how I feel about this. She also has a present in hand. As long as the promo isn’t 30 minutes long then I can put up with it. Shane interrupted her already! I love it. Yay, the present is for Shane. I can’t wait to see what sort of bizarre gift she bought for him. Interesting. It was the picture that Vince broke in front of Shane. I wonder if Stephanie is going for a face turn. I actually see this being an actual face turn. Maybe not immediately but they might be trying to make her more likeable. And Kevin Owens is coming out. He’s not going to waste time. He wants the Intercontinental Title back. He never got a rematch for it (I think). And here comes Cesaro! Cesaro should be the champion but Owens and Zayn being there cost him the match. Cesaro and Owens in a #1 contenders match.

Cesaro vs Owens – gut-wrench off the top rope was awesome! I’m really liking this match. These 2 should fight more often. There it is. Miz getting involved in the match. Cesaro won the match technically but I doubt it’ll be that simple. And here comes Zayn! There are definitely building up these 4 guys for some sort of PPV match I think.

SO many back stage promos. You could have had a match in that time. Not this match though. Goldust, Fandango, R-Truth and Tyler Breeze do not need to be on TV. The only guy with a future in that group is Tyler Breeze but even he is so annoying I don’t want to see any more of him.

Breeze vs Goldust – this just feels like a throwaway match. Breeze won the match. So stupid!

New Day is coming out. Vaudevillains get the Extreme Rules match by default. You knew they had to do that. They need a match and for that PPV and with Enzo getting a concussion this was the only option. And they are showing the match again! Seriously. How many times are they going to show that injury? Glad to see that Enzo is doing okay and they are giving him a bit of air time. Here come the Vaudevillains to a practically non-reaction. These guys have no heat. They need to do something to get heat. Talking crap about Enzo Amore getting injured is a way to get some easy heat. Dudleys? What are they doing out here? Dudleys want the title shot. I don’t see them getting it. Ah, just Cass. I was surprised for a second that they would let Enzo and Cass come out. Just Cass. Some sort of match is coming from this mess of things. 4 on 4? Yeah.

New Day + Cass vs. Vaude Villains vs Dudley’s. – good match but nothing changed because of it.

Becky Lynch vs Emma – so it sounds like these 2 have been bickering via twitter and now they are having a match. You don’t really hear that same sort of thing with the male wrestlers. Seems like the writers love the stereotypes. I do like that Emma has been using Becky’s hair against her. Multiple moves using her hair to cause pain. And Emma wins. I’m actually impressed. I like her character change. The stupid dancing girl thing didn’t work. I didn’t even like it in NXT.

Ambrose Asylum talking to Stephanie. I wonder if there is something brewing. Stephanie playing it nice right now while she has to but is going to quietly work towards something more. Part of me wants it to be something devious and part of me wants Stephanie to stop being the psycho she has been for the last 3 years. Ambrose is really pushing Stephanie in this interview. And Stephanie is really taking it in stride. Or, not. Stephanie just cancelled the Ambrose Asylum. And Ambrose doesn’t seem to care at all. I actually kind of love it. Jericho is back to host the Highlight Reel. Now I’m not sure if Stephanie is going to be a face or not. She seems to be going back and forth on being good or bad. And now they are fighting. Nice, the plant to the head! Well, more likely his shoulders but whatever. The effect was there. What a mess though. Silly Jericho making messes.

US Championship #1 Contenders Battle Royal – Titus is back! Oh, even more people are coming out. Sheamus is on his way. Super bright Sheamus. That was painful. Corbin is coming out too. Ryder and Rusev are the last 2! Wow, Rusev won it! I was actually expecting Ryder. Makes sense though to have Kalisto vs Rusev if Kalisto is taking out guys WAY bigger and stronger than him. First Ryback and now Rusev. That might actually be good.

Charlotte and Ric promo – what a joke. That wasn’t even believable. Seriously. Some of these people need acting lessons, or better storylines to work with.

Reigns + Uso’s vs Styles, Anderson + Gallows – Styles won! I’m not too surprised but I am a bit surprised. Oh, they want Styles to take out Reigns with a chair. And Styles isn’t going to do it. But the Uso’s will use it! OH! There it is! He’ll use it too. Reigns saw that too. Interesting. I’m actually liking the way this is going honestly. Styles is trying to be the good guy and Roman is the bad guy. I hope it stays this way and Styles takes his title in 3 weeks.

Wow.. I haven't been on this forum in years..

I've definitely been enjoying Raw these past few weeks, despite tuning in and out during the show doing other things. I'm loving seeing AJ Styles in the main event scene, and Guns and Gallows being involved is even better. I can see them turning on AJ eventually, possibly siding with a debuting Finn Balor setting up a feud between the two, leaving Reigns facing Rollins when he returns.

Dylan217 : I suspect that is what is going to happen as well. Although with Balor getting his title shot AFTER Extreme Rules I expect he won't debut until that title match is over. I hope he shows up earlier than that but I doubt it.

Also, as much as I didn't like the flip flop heel run that Rollins had he was amazing in the ring and I would love to see him come back.

Damien Sandow, King Barrett, Santino Marella, Cameron, Hornswoggle, Alex Riley, El Torito and Zeb Colter were all released by WWE today. I knew several of those names were done for but I was a bit surprised by Damien Sandow. He was so over with the fans that I didn't expect WWE would let him go. The rest of the people were all on their way out a while ago from the bit I knew.

Still, seeing Barrett gone (he was so badly used) is sad too. He could have been better.

The rest are pretty forgettable at this point.

geeogree : Yeah, Damien Sandow was really over. I just don't understand that the best thing they used him for was in a tag team with The Miz. At least he won the Money in the Bank and Tag Team Titles while he was in WWE. Maybe he'll get resigned later on, as he is a really good wrestler, and probably will make his way to the indies, kind of like what Del Rio did when he was fired. Barrett is also thinking of going to New Japan after his break from the business, and to be honest, I would love for him to join the Bullet Club, because it will bring another prominent wrestler besides The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega into the mix, as he would be a gaijin as well. I was surprised about Alex Riley as well. They were building up something in NXT for him, but all of a sudden, he was just let go. I am not surprised by the rest, as they didn't matter in the slightest, except for Zeb Colter, I really appreciated his work with Swagger and Cesaro when they were tagging a while back.

As for Raw and Smackdown, I was happy that Styles, Anderson, and Gallows went against The Usos and Reigns in both Main Events, and exchanging wins was the best way to go. The way that Styles and co. were attacked after not nailing Reigns with a chair was a pretty good way to go, and I was happy Anderson took the pin in the Smackdown match, dealing him his first pinfall loss in WWE. Overall, great build so far, and wouldn't be surprised in Anderson and Gallows have the Tag Titles by SummerSlam. Honestly, if it were my perfect world (and I mean perfect, as this would include The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega), it would be Anderson and Gallows as WWE Tag Champs, Young Bucks as NXT Tag Champs (weird to have these on them, but it makes them look more powerful), Omega as NXT Champion, Balor as Intercontinental and United States Champions, and Styles as World Champion.
