It's official: there will soon be a fourth Toejam & Earl title! I have waited for this moment since I was eight (twenty years. O__O) since I never got to play the third TJ&E, though unfortunately they missed their console release stretch goal so it'll be a PC/Mac game only unless they make enough money from sales and decide to release on console anyway (they're missing a huge opportunity if they don't). Still, this is great, and I'm super hyped.


The link above is their Kickstarter page (now ended) and has more info than any other site I've found yet. The game will probably take at least another twelve to eighteen months according to them, but no release date has been set.

Some quick info about gameplay: It plays like the first TJ&E, includes the randomization of levels, items will be able to carry over between games (like New Game+ apparently), online and local multiplayer will be supported, and best of all: up to four people can play simultaneously!

Wait, so you're 43? I never heard if this but the features you mentioned made me think of a few other games that I have both played and likes so I'm going to look into it.

I remember this series. I was always Toejam, my pal was Earl. Back to Funkotron!

endings : I usually played as Earl and my sister played as Toejam. I'm so glad they decided to try to revive the series again (tried on the DS but didn't get the support they needed). Love their spirit.

This is real? That's amazing! It's always nice to see the return of a beloved series. My only concern is that there have been quite a few kickstarter scams in the past. But if this is seriously happening, I'm blown away!

I was omega excited about this intill I realized that it was only going to be on pc. Couldnt care less now. If its a pc exclusive it might as well not exist.
