I have a nice studio quality noise cancelling headset that I like to use. Not only so I can listen to whatever as loud as I want and not interrupt them, but also because it drowns out the noise around me. So A win-win situation lol

Generally no, with two exceptions:
1. If it's an audio based experience, I'll wear them. Example: Sword and Sworcery EP.
2. If I don't want to wake up nearby people, I'll wear them.
I enjoy headphones, but only in moderation because it's downright unhealthy for ears to always wear them.

I do when I am playing World of Warcraft late on Sunday and Monday nights so I don't wake up the kids, or so my wife and I can hear the raid leaders telling us what they want us doing for certain fights because we only have one pair of headphones between the two of us

I always use headphones... at least if I can... The sound is clearer, but I may end up getting some nice speakers for my PC so I can have awesome sound for all of the games. 

The reason I like headphones are better is that the sound is much clearer, closer and the sound has no interference. But, who knows, maybe it's going to be better with actual speakers.

I have a decent Skullcandy headset that I like to use whenever I'm doing anything, honestly. Not just gaming. They're nothing too special.

I also use them when I record gameplay videos and/or stream (which I won't be doing again until, at the very least, next year).
