So, how did you find out about the Furry fandom? Was it through Disney, video games, the internet or something else entirely like friends or anime? Now, I realize that some people may have found out about the fandom through it's more 'adult oriented' art so keep it PG if you did! We don't need desriptions of the image or a link to the artist, this is a family friendly website after all. Wouldn't want to get banned now would ya

As for myself, I found out about the fandom through the internet. More specifically I found out about the fandom through the artist "Skailla." While her character's are not completely anthro, I believe their character is style called feral, they still do possess human qualities such as talking and running bussiness'. I only really found out about the fandom when I was looking through the 'related' images and the other artists in her friends list.

I first encountered furries when i was 10 years old.. On neopets.. This was back in 2001, So the Internet and the furry fandom itself wasn't as prominent as it is today that's for sure.. Because i was so young i never really thought anything about it...

I think i really got into the fandom around the age of 16.. mainly due to liking the character "tails" so much.. I've been to a couple of furry meets as well but honestly it's pretty dull unless you know people there x3.. same as brony ones really.

I looked at the artist's work and yes it is called "feral" it's pretty much when the animals still are drawn as they are in nature essentially.

And yes.. Some people here know about the art i have of my OC, half of which is not PG... but meh... it's only art...
