Nintendo has recently announced that its president, Satoru Iwata, has passed away at 55 because of an issue with his bile duct .

I've done some more research, and the problem was apparently thought to have been solved a while ago but came back.

I just found out now from a friend of mine

Say what you will about whether he was a good president of the company or not - at least try to be respectful, please. I personally believe that Nintendo has made some completely
amazing games during his time as president. True, this is coming from a 13-year-old who grew up playing Nintendo's newer games and not its older ones, and maybe they will dull in comparison when I decide to play its older games, but I sure had a ton of fun.

greenluigi : :C

Rest in peace, Satoru Iwata.

Thank you for running the company responsible for a lot my best childhood memories!

NintendoFanKimmy : It's really sad. I just learned this a few minutes ago. I had no idea he had health problems too.

Also, you were beaten to making this by JUUUST a few minutes. I'm going to close this one up. Feel free to post over here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=88615
