From Renegade Kid's website, http://www.renegadekid.com/mmsc.htm

Mutant Mudds is one of my favorite indie series. I 100%ed the original with the update completed as well. So, naturally, when Mutant Mudds: Super Challenge was announced in the April 1st, 2015 Nintendo Direct, I was really excited. Once the Nintendo Direct was over, I watched the trailer itself. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdH9XjHB1T8) It was set to come out sometime this June. That April and May were the longest April and May I ever witnessed. School didn't help. In June, I checked the eShop every Thursday. It never came out. I thought, "Well,July 2nd (that was next Thursday at the time) isn't that much after June." I genuinely expected it to come out on that day. It didn't. At that point, I was sort of sad. "So when is it coming out?" I thought. I checked the website. To my dismay, it said "Summer 2015." Anyway, this is enough back story for an article.

Mutant Mudds: Super Challenge was announced on April 1, 2015 in a Nintendo Direct. It was announced to release sometime in June 2015. A demo was released as part of the Nindies @ Home promotion on the Wii U eShop afterwards. Then Renegade Kid's website stealthily changed the release date to Summer 2015... and that's pretty much all there is to it.

So, that's my article. I know it's a little on the short side, but I felt that I should make this article since none of the major Nintendo or general gaming news sites were reporting it, and the delay caught me off guard. I'll survive the wait though. Thanks for reading!

I mean that seems like a pretty bad situation, that was pretty much me and The Last Guardian except I never really knew if The Last Guardian would come out to begin with, even now after the E3 reveal I'm kind of worried about something going wrong during development <.< >.>

Either way I'd still say it's better they delay it if the game's quality might suffer otherwise, It'll feel hard as long as it isn't out, but once it comes out and if it turns out well hopefully it'll feel worth the wait, just gotta find some other games to occupy that space.

In my opinion this was easily in the top three games shown for the Wii U at E3, and it could just as easily be the best. I'm having trouble choosing between it, Starfox Zero, and the Xenoblade game, (though I know nothing of Xenoblade, just that it looked cool in the brief commercial I saw), but at this point I'm leaning toward this one. Any idea if it's a Wii U exclusive?

As Zlinq said, it stinks that it was delayed, but it's for the best. The longer a game takes to come out, the more the developers can do with it, and the better it'll play. Just think of it like Christmas: the longer the wait, the more you'll enjoy it. lol
