So, which 3-D Mario game do you prefer (yes I put the DS one on there, it's different enough, some people might like it better)? I pick Galaxy, the whole different fields of gravity/different small planets thing is fun!

mario 64 gets my vote as well.. i just really dont like anything nintendo newer than the n64. the DS has some good games though, like advance wars and a couple others. N64 is still my favorite though

i would have to say that super mario 64 was the best mario 3-D game because it was the original game with many levels and more than one thing to do in each level, the graphics were great, and unlike super mario 64 ds it has a joystick instead of a d-pad.

Haha, yeah, I had the DS version. It wasn't bad when you used the touch-screen for movement, except for the fact that the default (and better) touch-screen layout is for left-handed people! So more people can experience the lameness of the D-pad controls, I guess. It doesn't matter that the D-pad is on the left, so those are the buttons right-handed people would use, the controls still could have been better!

i think you can flip it around so that the buttons are reversed, meaning the D-pad would be converted to the right side.

I personally like Super Mario 64 DS the best... I haven't been able to play Super Mario Sunshine yet... I like Super Mario Galaxy but it doesn't hold a candle to Super Mario 64... and Super Mario 64 DS is like the original but with the addition of 3 new characters, multiplayer modes, and minigames... how can that be beaten? While I admit that the version for the N64 was the original, the BEST would have to be the DS remake imo
