What do you guys think about me redo'ing the forum? Having a Streamer's and YT Forum didn't quite get the attention I think a few people were expecting it too. 
So, this is what I am thinking about doing... making a "Land of Thing" kind of forum, while keeping the Streaming and YT channel promo's alive.
Basically, it'd be my own version of Leggy's IT and Sonicmcmuffin's "Tyri's Perspective". Basically, my own little place to post stuff when it doesn't go anywhere else. I would keep the Streaming and YT channel thing, though I would separate them. That would mean that people would have a thread for just their streams, and a separate thread to post about whatever they want to for their YT channel. That means no more limiting it to just the Video Game aspect of both. 

What do you think about this? 

Summoning the Locals for the forum, and the people with threads in this forum that this would affect, along with a few others for their feedback.

thing1 : Hmm I guess the Idea could work I mean it doesn't sound like a bad one. But I don't know how much attention it will get but I guess it's worth a try. And if it is needed to separate my thread for different topics like Streaming and Youtube I like how we can now post more then just gaming it's just that I really wouldn't like to make a new thread on my Youtube channel because I feel it would kind of stink to be updating both.

It doesn't sound bad but would probably take some time to get attention, you would need plenty of ideas for the the other side already planned out before you go along with it.

thing1 : sounds cool. I would take as many ideas from the other threads of that type so it has a good format and starts off well

I think it could work well but may take some time. If not then at least you tried.

thing1 : That sounds great even though I'm kind of both now but my Youtube channel is more prominent than my streaming on twitch anyway love the idea.

Yes it sounds like a good idea but than you have users like deg. That would have to go back and forth between threads instead of just posting everything on one. Besides that I don't know if this will generate the kind of attraction you want, not at the start anyway. Even so, it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.

If deg wanted to, he could keep it at one thread. Just like Leggy's and Sonic's personal forums, they are pretty loosely run. Basically, my forum would be the place where you come to post stuff when they don't go anywhere else. And if they should go somewhere else... I could just move them there, or have a Global do it if I'm not sure. 

But, as for deg's dilemma, it's a simple fix: instead of having separate sub-forums for YouTube channels and Streaming channels, if the user wants, just combine them into one like I have it now. The only reason I suggested having them separated was to make it to where you could post about any new video on your YouTube channel, and it not be considered off topic. 

cnw64 : I would find it hard because I forget too Post when I'm doing a stream and stuff like that the only time I actually go straight forward to posting what I did is when I'm fulfilling a requested video for a friend or something other than that I'm lazy and won't do anything. And yes as it doesn't seem that hard I would dislike the idea of me going back and forth I mean other users find that easy I just don't

thing1 : Yeah I'd rather keep them into one but you can still make the sub-forums for youtubing I'll just keep my stuff mostly to gaming if needed I mean even if I did post something on Youtube that wasn't related to gaming users could still access it pretty easily. 

I am seriously considering doing this, but I may need to change the mods up, or change a few other things. Does anybody have anything that they want to suggest or add before I see how much Viz I need to send to Davideo7?
