I just discovered this game yesterday and now it's one of the best things ever. I was watching a Markiplier video on YouTube of the game and about halfway through the game I decided to look up the game and play it since it was a Browser game, not needing any downloads, and I have NEVER stopped a Markiplier video for anything.

The game turned out to be so awesome that I played for a good 3 hours and never even finished the video. The game is so much fun and I did some research on the game and found out that it had been greenlit for Steam!!!!

Agar.io is fun and all but......I really don't see what the point of putting an expanded version on Steam is, especially if you're making it free.

Think of it like this; if you have internet and can play agar.io, why not put the expanded version on the site? The only difference is you'd have to download the game on Steam.

I suppose it's harmless in the end, but I just wanted to put all that out there.

Haha yeah! Pretty much everyone on vizzed (chat wise) knows about agar because I mentioned it in chat once and everyone started playing it :V It's a fun game but it's one of those games that make you rage like crazy no matter who you are.

Boxia : One hugs thing I can think of by putting it on Steam instead of just on the site would be that the game could possibly become controller compatible, which I think would be great over a mouse. Plus, just like here, it would cost a lot more to run the site with all that extra stuff whereas the Steam Market would help them sell their cosmetics with very few problems.

They'll go down the cosmetic route when charging people... It'll be another one of those "free" games that charges you Real life money to change skins and the like...

Honestly this game is pretty poor.. obviously that's just my personal opinion.. It's literally one of those games that will eventually just fade from existence.. Just all the youtubers will be jumping on the money train... as usual

They're pretty lucky too because if some YouTubers hadn't found the game and started talking about it and showing it off, then there wouldn't have been any support for it to go on Steam at all. In fact, it's been trying to get greenlight for a while and then officially got greenlight less than 24 hours after Pewdiepie made a video with it.
